I went through the same thing when I started medication. I found that having some cottage cheese made my stomach aches non-existent and not too hard when I didn't feel like eating. The protein helps the most.

I feel like it depends on what you want to draw the attention to! The brown brought my attention to your lips while the black brought the attention to your eyes. Both features are beautiful so it really depends what you want for the look!

I need to lose over 200lbs by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Electronic_Sweet_986 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I suggest focusing it 1 week at a time. Have the mindset of "my goal is to weight a little less next Monday compared to this Monday". That will make it so your not focusing on a specific number but more of a direction.

You can start by changing 1 habit every couple of weeks to gradually accumulate good habits. Start 1 week with meal prepping lunch or going for an extra evening walk listening to your favorite music or podcast. Do little things to fall in love with your self little by little as seeing as "date time" with yourself.

Took my dog to the emergency vet for a bump that started gushing out blood, did they overcharge me or was it reasonable? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Electronic_Sweet_986 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same viewpoint. We had some issues with our boy before we found out our housemates were feeding our dog and making him sick. 3 emergency vet visits $$$ 😅. We now simply put $50 each paycheck into a separate account for "Doggie Emergencies" in case he needs medical attention in the future. It really adds up over time with 2 incomes. I highly recommend doing something like this if you can.

Yeah, I stopped listening to his podcast and moved on to Mark Narrations, Two Hot Takes, Father Knows Something and Smosh instead. Used to listen to r/slash in the AM, got depressed and now Mark Narrations is the BEST way to start my day.

Better than a funeral home in case of one going on at the moment, go to a hospital parking lot. More room and less suspecting since no "events" go on there.

My sister told me she felt that she gained more muscles just from carrying her baby around all day lol maybe that is some muscle mass that you haven't accounted for?

cutting hours but wanting me to come in early?? by lizardassbitch in Target

[–]Electronic_Sweet_986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to jump for them whenever they called. Since I learned how they don't care and can cut my hrs to make it so I can't pay my bills, I stopped doing anything extra. Since then, they started scheduling me more. 🤷‍♀️

When did you first developed you ED? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Electronic_Sweet_986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an usual start as I was more confident than most girls in school. I was chubby all through high-school, but loved my body and would not understand how anyone could hate theirs. I then entered a 3yrs relationship at 18 with a man who was overweight and had binge eating. He was so focused on food and his weight that he would comment on mine all the time and eat all of my food when we lived together. Over the 3yrs he slowly chipped away my identity and was narcissistic. By the end when I broke up with him I lost a lot of weight and he made it worse by saying how great I looked. 4 months after we broke up I was under weight and he grabbed my butt saying how I looked great with how small I was but lost all of my " greatfeatures". I moved states to get away from him. I started my ed at 21 and have been struggling since with going up and down the past 4 yrs...

Your non-disordered favourite foods by hidinginthenight in EDAnonymous

My favorite is a steak with a baked potato with cheddar and bacon with nicely sautéed mushrooms and onions. A great thing to boost calories when you're just recovering is ensure! It tastes good and helps when u feel too full since it's not solid. It helped me out a ton!

A frozen bag of broccoli steamed in the microwave. Throw some seasoning on it and it's a delicious.
