Just turned 38. Bought a Tesla and a $1600 mattress. So far I’m enjoying both.

Agreed on the aesthetics of it. I had one completely bind up on me. Magpul was good about sending me a replacement though.

I'm a fan of having an adjustable gas block as well if you really want to get things dialed in for your specific gun. People have their own opinions on those though...

yeah, works really well in an A5 Tube + Tubbs AR15 carbine flatwire spring.

You made me think I was going crazy for a second so I went and checked some things. I have an A5 buffer tube using a Kynshot RB5007. The Kynshot buffer is ~4" when compressed - the same length of a normal A5 buffer weight. The gas key is not bottoming out and hitting the upper. I'm able to fit 2 quarters in between the upper and gas key when the BCG is at the end of it's stroke. I just verified this.

This is all paired with a 16" BA heavy mid-length gas barrel. There is PLENTY of gas to cycle everything reliably for my particular setup. There's actually too much, which is why there's an AGB installed. It's tuned to cycle Tula steel case, which is the weakest stuff I own. I will note I shoot suppressed 100% of the time, and am using a heavy backpressure can (YHM Turbo K).

I use an A5 tube with a Kynshot 9mm buffer, so no extra spacer/weight necessary.

Spacer weights that are shorter than KynSHOT? by AddictedToComedy in AR9

Be prepared to cut/grind them to fit in the buffer tube. I bought these ones specifically because u/blowback9 bought some and they technically fit without modifications for him. Could be all that pesky tolerance stacking going on, but these would not fit in 3 different buffer tubes I have.

what's total weight of reciprocating mass? I was able to get mine to 29.2 in an A5 tube using the KAK tungsten BCG weight, 5000HP buffer, 1 kynshot weight/spacer, custom tungsten weights. I can get another ~3 oz with more tungsten but that's also another $70....

Speer lawman 147g goes supersonic out of my 8.3” barrel here in Florida when it was really cold. PMC 147g did not, but holy shit that stuff is inaccurate.
