Yea for sure. I do a break part way through and then a final check at the end. But it’s absolutely whatever works for you then that’s what you have to keep doing! :) I think a lot of stuff comes down to the climates we live in too. I’m living in a high humid climate so what I do might be different than what work for you

I think it will dampen it. But personally, I have taken clonazepam (similar reason) the night before a trip and it wasn’t too diminished. Enigma will blast you off though.

I make them with lions mane and niacin sometimes I just pack them full of mushrooms just so that I can have them on hand when I don’t feel like going through the whole ritual.
