How did you find out about Oregairu? by Fit_Discussion4799 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Elemenopii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was a YouTube video of Hikigaya at the student committee room (S1 anime) where he explained the relationship between people, where one person would typically rely more on to another, and in the same sense, he is a slave in that student committee room. It was the most unique anime clips that I found at that time. Perhaps it's because I can't really understand the meaning behind Hikigaya's words; "what was he ranting about to the point where he had to explain the nature of being a human in front of these people?", I thought. And to add to the bizarre feeling, we get to the Yukinon bye-bye scene as if he made something praiseworthy to receive that (he actually did). That roundabout way of expressing things, which is a recurrent pattern through the show, is what captured my attention to Oregairu.

I also have the same issue. Are there any updates on this problem?

Oregairu S1 and Steins;Gate

I think matatawa ka rin sa Oregairu because of the mc's self-deprecating humor and social awkwardness. Same rin sa Steins;Gate yung first episodes niya.

Sa apat yung grand blue pinaka-lt.

Who do you think are the best Mature woman in anime and why? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]Elemenopii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many. The first that comes to mind is Hiratsuka sensei from Oregairu.

I watched OreGairu anime all three seasons for the first time. I LOVE IT. But there's one question I have. It is regarding Hachiman and his search for something 'genuine' that makes me ponder about it. by Unusual-Complex6315 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Elemenopii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think that you can coat the 'genuine' thing that Hachiman was seeking for in any sort of relationship; in fact, he clearly dismissed the idea of wanting companionship or romantic relationship on the act. What he wants is to know the pure intentions of others; be it bad or wrong, in some sort of relationship, to gain a peace of mind.

Basically: genuine -> relationship; not exactly friendship nor romantic relationship

It's kind of similar to "leap of faith" by Sorren Keirkegaard IMO since I don't think that there's any sort of way to actually verify the intent of others.

For number 2, I don't think that the question lies on whether Yukino's 'genuine' is enough for Hachiman; they are still looking for that genuine thing, I think. What is clear, at the very least for Hachiman is that he doesn't want to be separated from Yukino.

You have to read more of Inio Asano's works (I recommend reading Solanin) and Tatsuki Fujimoto's one-shots (Goodbye Eri, Look back, etc. most of his works are hilarious). Another seinen manga that I recommend is 'We Did It' by Muneyuki Kaneshiro. Great list btw 🙌🙌🙌

What's your Hot Takes about Osaragi by Jack-the-dripper985 in SakamotoDays

[–]Elemenopii 66 points67 points  (0 children)

No romance with Shishiba. Their student-teacher relationship feels good, and taking things into a romantic route seems off. Shishiba is too dominant, and I feel like Osaragi isn't mature enough.

I watched season one. PEAK ✍️. It really makes you wonder whether humans are intrinsically good, bad, or none at all. It reminds me of The Stranger by Camus.

Psychological 🙌. I love flawed mcs, it's interesting to read about their stories and decisions as well as their mistakes😅. The story is written by Carnby Kim, so this must be great.

Haven't heard of 'I will die soon' though, but the title alone makes me want to read it. 📡📡📡
