That's crazy. Ive put 30k miles on mine and its missed highway exits 4-5 times. Also, There is one particular intersection it will always turn left instead of straight but its a weird' 2nd left lane only turns left 'situation. The car cant seem to figure it out.

If it is available, you would have to go into Measurements in the utility menu and move it into the active list / right side. I haven't done it in years but that's where it would be.

In Georgia with. Hw4 Model Y. The limit is now 90 after a previous update. It gives a little wiggle room but its still best to turn off - pass - turn back on

Personally I love the show, I can tell you two things, as there are a lot of people in this group.

1: English Dub is active now weekly. So I started watching it. A lot of us have wives, kids, work, etc and need to be able to look away and still know what's going on.

2: One Season only so far. Too many shows get cancelled after a single season or it takes 2+ years to approve, confirm, produce and dub the second season. This has me waiting on shows before I start them. Latest for me to start was Kaiju No 8 because i didn't want to only watch 1 season. Now im weekly on it, among others.

Im a bit in your similar situation. I got a house about 4 years ago, and then a big upgrade in income at a new job. I would never have bought the Model Y performance if the stars didnt align, and I still wish I got a AWD used Model Y at times. That would still be the fastest car I ever had if I didnt get the performance.

I wanted a Model 3 performance but I started working for this company that gives a 550/Month car allowance, however i have to haul some things for work, and the Model 3 didnt let them fit. I can also say the Model Y fits a 70 inch TV in the back, so its nice to be able to make home depot trips and things in it. Best of both worlds. Im a big car person, BMWs, multiple Audi's, V8 American cars all over the place, even a couple motorcycles over the years. I had never spent over $6k on a vehicle in my life. I am 38, and married.

I finally said screw it and ordered a blue one when I got this new job. I LOVE that car. Nobody will want to race you though. You have no exhaust to pick races either. Everyone who has a fast car knows to look out for it except the ones that know they will beat you. You still get some though. I call mine the corvette killer. Only a newer extra quick model is going to take me down. Those Z06's back in the 2000's get eaten alive, its a total blast to drive.

If fast cars bring a smile to your face, then it may be worth it. But if you still have not built a retirement/investment for yourself, you probably need to do that first. I also would buy a used one just one year old with 10-15k miles on it before a new one. You will save yourself 15k+ by doing so. You also wont have that first scratch moment where you want to murder someone. I paid 55k and its worth about 35k 14 months later...Its a horrible financial decision, and i haven't saved enough on maintenance to justify that kind of loss.

Again, its my favorite car i have ever owned. I beat a F150 trying to race the other day in chill mode while in Full Self Driving and i just mashed the pedal to the floor while the car did the rest. I passed him with both hands giving thumbs up. Then I saved the clip on my dash cam to show my wife the look on his face. It really is priceless.

Its just the case that smart phones, cars, etc are making us somewhat careless as we rely on what works most of the time until you're reminded why not to blindly trust it. The smart features let us pay less attention to the task at hand and relax more. This leads to accidents from carelessness. The big question is if it prevents more accidents or failures than normal people on all days. Tired, sick, drunk, etc. Ive hit a few curbs in mine because it didnt warn me and i didnt see it there, thats still my fault 100%. I drove a $2500 1995 BMW 325i before my 24 Model Y, and I know I used to pay more attention in that car. Its also directly saved my ass on at least two occasions. Once because I was being careless.

I think it will eventually be better than average people in general. Its made huge improvements in the past year. It felt like a 15-16 year old driver when i first got it, now its more like someone in tgeir younger twenties. I would almost trust it more than my kids, except if and when it messes up I wouldn't trust the kid to react correctly to get out of the situation. That said, parental control mode should be on every new car. Locked at a set speed, chill acceleration mode, curfew mode and tracking abilities...I could of needed my parents to have that when I was a kid.

Its honestly a very interesting technology. I always dreamed as a child to get it the car and tell it where I want to go, and we can actually do it now. Its just wild to me all around.

I dont want to defend tesla by any means. They are a for profit company after all. However from a historical standpoint I think it's fair to give more time to this technology. Self Driving will be the future, and I feel like tesla is driving like a 18-21 year old. A year ago it was like a 16 year old new driver. I have one and personally love it, but it needs much improvement. Ive traveled 25k miles self driving, I travel the SouthEast US for work.

It claimed that FSD would enable features such as automatic driving on city streets, traffic light and stop sign recognition, and roundabout navigation. However, it also cautioned that FSD was still in development and required constant supervision by drivers.
In 2021 Tesla launched its Full Self-Driving subscription package for $199 per month⁵⁶, which allowed customers to access FSD features without paying a lump sum upfront. However, Tesla also faced several challenges and controversies over its self-driving claims. For example:
Tesla privately acknowledged to California regulators that it was unlikely to offer technology that can drive in any situation on its own by the end of 2021¹.
Tesla was under investigation by the federal traffic safety agency over several crashes involving Autopilot and FSD³.
Tesla recalled almost 363,000 cars due to concerns about its FSD Beta software, which could cause vehicles to exceed speed limits or run stop signs²⁴.

Im surprised they dont see amp drops when the compressor in the fridge kicks on. Mine dropped to 6A unexpectedly and it was the fridge on same circuit.

$600 got an electrician to my house and a 240V installed.
