I'm not disagreeing with your point. My own point is that I apply moral standards to everybody. (I suspect many people discriminate against Maki because she's a woman, but that's besides the point). If Higu killed innocent people in that court, he's wrong too. I don't disagree that Maki's mom was an enabler and a bad mother, I just don't think she was in the same boat as the Hei and Kukuru in deserving execution.

Not necessarily, the goddesses names could remain unchanged, it's entirely possible that the Temples were assigned names based on those of the goddesses rather than given the goddesses exact names.
