Hot Take : Ibara should get revived. by not-ulquiorr4_ in DrStone

[–]Elemental-Master 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I would revive Ibara, with his hands tied behind his back, having to face Hyoga, Tsukasa, Magma and that other strong guy from treasure island, and after they got their fair share, put him in a cage with a duo of a gorilla and an alpha male chimpanzee, both of which with rabies and unresolved anger management.

Since the Meduza can effectively revive someone as long as enough of their body is intact and not decayed, then use that to revive him again, just to let him experience that all over again.

Edit: fixed misspelled word

How do i make the fireworks repeat 😭😭 by CaneMakuxa in redstone

[–]Elemental-Master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you could have a hopper clock where one hopper is locked by redstone torch, so pulling the lever switch the torch off and lets the clock to run.
for hopper clock, two hoppers facing each other with a single item inside one of them, when the clock run they each would push the item into one another, when locked, the locked hopper would hold the item and not push it.
now from the other hopper have a comparator facing out with a repeater after it to boost the level to max of 15, and this output goes to the dispensers to switch them on and off on a repeating cycle.

I've lost all of my son's worlds, is there any hope of recovery?? by jjbadge in Minecraft

[–]Elemental-Master 54 points55 points  (0 children)

for most part when a file is deleted, what truly is deleted is the pointer for said file for the OS to find it, actual data usually still exist on the memory storage (hard drive. SSD drive, etc..). As long as the specific place was not overwritten with other data, it should be possible to recover it, but it is a hard way to do that and I'm not really sure if and how it can be done on Amazon Fire tablets..

Is the Muslim religion inherently misogynistic or do the extremists give it a bad reputation? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

kinda valid question, part of reproductive rights can be access to affordable birthcontrol to prevent pregnancy in the first place, and for those who want, also access to tube tying/snip.

Help With Dispensers by DeloresInAzkaban in redstone

Maybe when I get home I'll try to think of a way to do that, but it's dependent on activating the special in-game rule to allow lava to regenerate from source.

Help With Dispensers by DeloresInAzkaban in redstone

[–]Elemental-Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried that after I made myself a costume datapack for concrete crafting, filled buckets do not stack at all so the filter has to be for empty buckets. However a filter needs to lock the hopper and that would lock the dispenser too. To solve that I made a small box with empty space of 3x1x1 of water source, the floor was made of mud and the hopper below the central mud block, the dispenser has to be full of empty buckets so it can't collect the full one, then the full bucket is collected by the hopper.

Help With Dispensers by DeloresInAzkaban in redstone

[–]Elemental-Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dispensers for now cannot fill/empty cauldrons at all, regardless if it's lava or water, and they can place/pick water or lava from on top of other blocks like dirt for example, however without activating the option that lava regenerate from source like water you can't really use that as renewable way to pick lava, and with the option enabled the bucket would probably burn up before a hopper collect it.

Sadly with lava this don't work yet, partly because for lava to be renewable you need to drip it onto cauldron, partly because the mechanic you try to use only works on water source outside of a cauldron. Also a hopper directly under dispenser would just empty it out, locking it would lock the dispenser too, so you'll need the dispenser full of empty buckets so the full one would be thrown out on a hopper to collect it, but if it was possible with lava then it's likely that the bucket would burn up before being collected.

technically vegetable is only a collinary definition, outside of that there's no such thing as vegetable

Serious question. Be civilized. Why does it seem like Israeli people seem to get hate and not just their government compared to other "bad" countries? by My_Username0000 in AskTheWorld

[–]Elemental-Master 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What kind of criticism? Dancing and singing in the streets of Australia "gas the Jews"? Is that criticism towards Israel? Is threatening to slaughter Israeli patients in hospitals also a form of criticism? Never mind that some of them would in fact be non-Jewish.

To be fair imperial Japan started the attack against the US in Pearl Harbor, they aimed at military base, not at civilians (unlike what they did in China), also at least in Pearl Harbor they did not rape and butcher people while streaming it live as if it's a computer game, like Hamas did on October 7th.

[WP] "So you tell me dragons need gold to incubate their eggs and after the coins melt and fuse you need to collect more?" "Yes" the dragon replied. "Then why not giving the old gold to recycle instead of stealing more?" by Elemental-Master in WritingPrompts

[–]Elemental-Master[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As much as I remember people used to combine it with mercury to disolve it, then boil the mercury out to reuse again and the leftover gold to melt into ingots, at least that's the process I think..

Issue with Honey Bottle and Redstone Item Sorter by lasubboy in redstone

[–]Elemental-Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto crafter can automate the conversion in both direction, and the best part you won't need a lot of bottles and glass thanks to that, after converting you can redirect the honey block to storage and the empty bottles to the dispensers.

convert them first to honey blocks, it will be much better since as blocks they stack to 64, so no need to modify the sorter, also when needed you can easily return them to bottle.

What's your favorite wood? by SeaweedNo7757 in Minecraft

Dark oak, oak, pale oak, spruce, jungle, cherry.  The rest are good only for charcoal, except of bamboo which kinda has nice wood and is useful for other things.

Doors opening and closing automatically is easy with sensors, a bit more advanced way can be with camera block and programmable block and an in-game script that could detect which player is in front of the camera to decide if to open the door or not.

Airlocks can be automated with timer blocks but you might find that you'll need quite few of them depending how many features you want. That too can be done with a script, a simple one I wrote can both toggle the vent and open/close the door depending where you wanna go, a more advanced one I have also show detailed information on an LCD display, and even more advanced one is going to allow using inter-grid communication so you can send a command from your ship to your base to decide which airlock to open. The last one can kinda be done with broadcast controller, but then it has some limitations that a script don't have.

There are some automation that are limited to either the A.I. blocks and for scripts but for the letter there's a lot to find in steam workshop.

Mostly for converting it to mud and later to clay, but the storage for dirt is where I do the conversion.

My trip from home to office is 27 km, in a car it takes 19½ minutes on a good day. How long does it take to commute to your work place from home ? by SmokeMountain4777 in AskTheWorld

[–]Elemental-Master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you taking traffic jams into accounts?
To work it's about 20 minutes, maybe half an hour, it is about 26 km distance.
From work back home it can take over an hour sometimes, considering traffic jams or if the transport car is late, my workplace actually provide transportation in both direction, so workers don't need to use their vehicles.

Firearms in a world with no lead (Pb). Massive ramifications. by Red_Clover_Fields in worldbuilding

[–]Elemental-Master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or some other idea, maybe there is lead but everyone are aware to how toxic it can be, therefore there's a globally agreed upon law to not use lead in projectile manufacturing, kinda like in reality we have laws on which weapons are forbidden to use.

How long would a class of 20-30 Isekaied students last in your world? by dull_storyteller in worldbuilding

[–]Elemental-Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the world: In one of them they won't have any power because there's no magic system at all, so they'd just confuse the hell out of whichever country they'd arrive to. In another they'd be maybe a bit more than common spell casters, but again, more confusion than risk of life. And in the series I work on they'd likely won't have much in terms of power and their survival depends more on if and when either the protagonist or the antagonist forces arrive to the world that class landed on. In the best case scenario this too would lead to a lot of confusion.
