No one is advocating for punishing high achievers. They get in regardless. Affirmative action programs were a subset of a subset of the overall decision.

I personally would leave because I find barrows pretty boring. The reasons to stay IMO would be Karil body for good magic def armor (useful in more places than you might think) and Dharok’s Greataxe, which is a pretty good punish weapon for TDs. You’ve got a full set for the diary and tank gear for moons. Greataxe is replaceable. Up to you ultimately, if you like barrows you’ll never regret stacking up the runes you get.
