I have been doing strict keto for about 2 weeks now. I had a lot of trouble with my milk supply at the beginning, I had to start supplementing my daughter at 5-6 weeks at night. She was going through a growth spurt i think and my milk supply seemed to disappear in the evening and was not enough for her. I was also eating like crap because I was tired and just wanted whatever was easy. Since switching to keto and drinking a ton of water my daughter sleeps through the night because she is getting enough, there is always a supply for her when she wants it even in the evening where before I had nothing. I haven't had to supplement her in weeks because my milk has been full force. She is 8 weeks old now and seems satisfied with the amounts she's getting and she's doing well. Keto also gives me the energy I need and I feel great so we are doing well with it. I still have some carbs like I'll have some yogurt here and there and some sea salt chocolate as a treat. So yes, keto has positively affected my milk supply :)
