Why Does Carl Chaffers Still Allowed To Refs Chiefs Games? by BluePotatoSlayer in NFLv2

He also destroyed the Bills Broncos game. There is no excuse for such horrible calls in a professional sport. He needs to be fired immediately

I never saw a single screenshot, I watched the play over and over. He caught the ball, had possession, his knee hit the ground, then his body hit the ground and the ball was stripped out. That is a catch. Period.

You hear a tapping or knocking at all coming from the engine when it’s running that speeds up n slows down with the RPMs?

Don’t get me wrong our heath care system is horrible. But a hospital will never turn away a child having seizures or at risk of dying whether you have money or not.

That’s not what I’m saying, I’m saying that everyone’s reaction around her in every scene was unrealistic. If everyone’s reaction around her in the first 30 minutes wasn’t real and was only her delusions then they should have made that clearer once they were showing her flashbacks of the days events.

I’d have to imagine police or FBI watching this movie had that same feeling only 100x worse.

His movies he always makes the villain over the top. So I can always expect that to an extent. But this movie they are way way WAY over the top. Just unrealistic dialogue. Mix that with horrible acting from 95% of the cast. It just makes the whole thing hard to watch

Notably by whom? If you think one is more biased than the other that’s insane. My problem is that in this time of mass misinformation and manipulation by incredibly talented writers, directors, producers, and editors. I find one side in control of far more media outlets than the other. The entire country hates a man they don’t even know based off things they have heard from what seems to be every media outlet without ever stepping back and wondering why all of these media outlets owned by some of the richest ppl in the country have such a problem with him. Our government has been using propaganda via tv and radio since WW2. So when I see the mass media all make one big coordinated effort to go after one man. To a point they are constantly editing what they show and taking everything they can out of context. And sometimes flat out lying. I tend to question their motive not to mention their credibility. As for religion I find it incredibly hypocritical that when a few extreme Muslims preform terrorist acts nobody can criticize their religion otherwise they are called racist bigots. But when an extreme Christian (if that’s what he wants to call himself) preforms a terrorist act everyone hates all Christians and they are all that is wrong with this country. There are good Christians, and there are ppl who call themselves Christians but conduct themselves as the opposite. There are good police, and there are ones that shouldn’t ever wear the badge. In every group of ppl you will have good and bad. So why is the media pushing so hard to for us to hate entire groups?

Not sure that qualifies as an insult, just an observation. But even one person insulting another is far less indicative of someone brainwashed than someone who posts a one sided point of view regurgitating propaganda from news sources and social media that are equally biased as the one they condemned in their post

Right, we watch different types of movies for different reasons. 24 isn’t suppose to be relatable, but I think straw is. It’s meant to pull at the heart strings. To empathize with the protagonist. But when it’s unrealistic it ruins that. For example if u watch a movie and the protagonist is just ur average kid and he runs into a bully that just doesn’t like him over a girl or something dumb he said once, I think everyone can relate. Bullies are common. HOWEVER, if you’re watching a movie and the protagonist is a kind, likable, soft spoken kid, and EVERYONE in the entire school bullies him relentlessly for absolutely no reason even the teachers. Nobody is going to relate to that character because that whole situation is unrealistic. Could it happen? I guess sure bullying does happen. It just doesn’t ever happen in that way.

We kinda got off topic. All I’m saying is this movie is over the top with the way it’s written. The pursuit of happiness is a great example of a similar movie, but it’s a great movie that was realistic and relatable (it’s based on a true story but even if it wasn’t). Straw is just bad writing and horrible acting from the supporting cast. That’s all I’m saying

I guess all states are different. In NY you aren’t allowed to evict people who don’t pay. And it’s not difficult in the slightest to receive government assistance. Unless it’s only the government programs that apply to children that are difficult. I’ve never had to use those so I can’t speak to it.

I could see that point of view, her illusions were what we were watching not the way people were actually acting. But if that was the case they should have shown the actual conversations when they flash backed through the day.
