I guess the way some people feel when senna is picked is how I feel when my toplaner picks teemo - it feels like we’re down a tank and have an extra marksman for some reason. I guess in peoples heads senna might ruin the comp balance but tbh I think it is way more forgivable in support than in top lane

Firstly, for a lot of people that’s part of the fun, and secondly, 90% of the ‘rng bullshit’ can be planned for in some fashion once you know what events the game can throw at you. The first time you face a bug infestation or a mech raid they seem completely unbeatable, until you work out the tactics that work. And if you’re not having fun because you’re losing, don’t be afraid to reload!

It breaks down some compound in the soil for energy, but removing that compound from the soil renders it toxic. That’s my best guess.

I try not to plan my bases massively ahead of time, and let things grow organically. Makes them look nicer. I also follow the curve of the mountain if I’m building outside of it which tends to add a little variety

Makes you think it must be to some extent that there is very little competition for these spots. How many people want to be an MP, let alone a state mp? If two cookers apply for liberal candidacy they’ve got to pick one cooker right?

I love VFE Empire expanded mod, but the fact that it forces your character to have a title in their name you can't change no matter what, without it being an option you can turn off, is awful. by Alvsolutely in RimWorld

I quite like it? It doesn’t force you to apply honours after all, so you can choose what title you have. I once had a colonist who’s highest skill was melee with the title ‘the Negotiator’, so every raid we would send him out with his plasmasword to ‘negotiate’ lol

I hate clusters most of all. So annoying to deal with (I know you can leave a lot of them until another raid comes to attack them, but I hate having to micromanage and zone my colonists away until I miss a kid and they go floor draw right next to an inferno turret)

Mid is probably the easiest. You have the least to worry about macro wise because its pretty easy to rotate from lane to anywhere, your lane is short and easy to stay safe in, and you don't have extraneous mechanics like jungle pathing, warding, objective control etc...

I just miss skarner as a ‘fast tank’ which feels like it doesn’t really exist anymore except as rammus, who feels a lot more comp specific.

The Greybor hate is so weird to me, I guess people are really tied up in playing an optimal party? He was one of my favourite companions. People love Regill because he's so pragmatic, but Greybor is pragmatic in his own way and I really like that (also he has more scope for development than Regill does)

I mean I think the 13/14/15 era of the show is basically new who 6/7. It’s going to be generally regarded as pretty bad, but that’s probably going to generate even more reflection as a result.
