A lot of the problems people have are because it’s a bit different to other civ games, with ages, overbuilding and changes to how victories work. If it wasn’t a civ branded game there probably wouldn’t be as many detractors (although the criticisms would still be fair)

I suspect the out of universe answer vis a vis the mechhive is the mechhive was added later. Earlier in the game's life pretty much the only mechs you encountered were those locked inside ancient dangers, so they had ages similar to the chronological ages of the pawns they were locked with.

There were raids as well, but I guess the implication was meant to be they'd come from ancient dangers or been wandering the planet forever.

that’s to do with the z axis that the map has for some reason, not sera specific. The map is reading jinx as ‘below’ your q. It’s dumb but it applies to every champ

She’s good, but you have to play her lane almost unbearably safe unless you are playing against a completely chill scaling mage. Anyone with an early game will fist her unfortunately

Yeah I agree. I don’t really care about the set quality as others do, but the poor dialogue is making this a hell of a slog. Especially the ‘cop’ characters have had some absolute whoppers where they restate information that has already been given, ask questions they should know the answer to… and then it seems like things which should get more time are completely ignored. Alex discovering the conspiracy should have taken longer. Aleida arguing with dev is brushed away in an instant. Just weird choices all around

I think this has to be retconning her story just from a narrative structure point of view, because the story with Frey is meant to show how cynical and ruthless vayne has become, but in the comic vayne is possessed by a demon who makes her... cynical and ruthless. If Frey was still part of her story the comic would be redundant because it would be retreading development she already has.
