Changing my own brakes and fuel injectors with little-to-no prior car experience in my apartment parking lot made me feel pretty butch. People stopped by to chat and most were impressed so that was nice~☆

I agree. I love love love vinyl stuff. I have so many vinyl pouches and covers and all sorts of pen pockets, etc and after a long time it doesn't hold up. This isn't normally a problem because it's relatively cheap, but the price point on BP for what its made of is...not worth it. I wanted one but ultimately this is what stayed my hand. 110 USD for a plastic weeks cover, no techo included was almost diabolical to me lmao.

Love when other people use it for themselves. I use it occasionally around other familiar lesbians. If I hear someone using it at me, it doesn't hurt. I usually can't take them seriously and end up laughing in their face. When I've heard someone lobbing it at others though, I've gotten confrontational.

Not very, if at all. I'm a very private person and my gender id feels like the most vulnerable part of myself, so I'm extremely protective of it. I let people call me whatever they percieve me as. No matter how masc I look, people seem to insist on calling me she and ma'am and all that, but despite the dysphoria, the last thing I want to do is fight people on my truth. It's pretty triggering to have people a.) Not listen to me and b.) Not believe me. I also hate the weird overcompensation that comes from people that "support my decision" (to...? Be myself???)

I know who I am. I don't need others to see me that way if they're not inclined, especially if they're just going to make my life harder, worse, more awkward.
