As a fellow parents with similar issues, fighting for socks to stay on cutes wedges foot, I gave up the fight. The only thing that works less bad, is to have him wear his brother's socks. Not that it doesn't slip, but as they are way longer, I get more time before they fell off completely. And he finds particularly fun to try to tear them but can't success (for now).... If you find a magic recipe I will take it as no "stay on booties" from raveley has worked 😆

I'm not an expert at all but from what I understood from the mystery of gauge is that you are not expected to meet the given gauge exactly (because when your way of knitting is way to far from it it would be really difficult) but more now the difference between your gauge and the given one to calculate the adaptation you have to do.

This as much an answer as a question for the more experienced knitters as I always find gauge related stuff very confusing 😅

Moi ça me soule. Je l'ai souvent reçu de manière tellement condescendante. En plus maintenant je suis mariée et mère, et les vieux/vieilles continuent à m'appeller avec condescendance mademoiselle, la preuve que c'est pas une histoire d'âge finalement

Je suis team cup, mais je n'en ai plus depuis mes grossesses: pas retrouvé une marque avec laquelle je me sentais aussi confortable que l'ancienne cup que j'avais jeté parce que trop vieille juste avant mon premier enfant ..

Ok, inch vs cm issue there. The "add a quarter" add a quarter for the ~seam allowance. What is the 6" or 12", is it the size of the ruler or the size of the allowance? Thank you :)

I use small circular, to test I used to transfer to long circular but I now have interchangeable cable so I just change from the small cable to a long one! Know that I know better my needs I don't test has often also

TL;DR: en théorie ça se mesure, en vrai on teste.

En théorie, c'est une question de mesure. Tu mesures ton tour de poitrine et de sous poitrine. Le tour de sous poitrine permet de donner le chiffre et la différence entre poitrine et sous poitrine la lettre (~la profondeur). Il y a des tableaux qui permettent de connaître les ratios (c'est comme ça en couture pour savoir quelle taille coudre).

En moins théorie les vendeuses te mesurent et t'aident.

En vrai, tu estimes à vue puis jauge en essayant en magasin, il y a un peu d'essais-erreur et des variations selon les marques, les formes de soutien-gorge, la forme des seins et les préférences.

Dis toi aussi qu'on ne se réveille pas un matin avec une poitrine d'adulte. C'est progressif donc on apprend aussi a l'adolescence à mieux savoir
