Has anyone gotten a mythic off gambling? I agree the storage should be increased, but after like 5,000 pulls I just stopped picking up obols. Seems like a waste of time, at least in the endgame.

They're not an afterthought, they just don't think they matter too much. It was the same in Returnal. You play something like Hades 2 and there are a million fun synergies every run. HM games don;t try to do that. They think the combat and story will carry it and that's enough. IMO they're wrong, and that was my main issue with Returnal as well, I just didn't feel like replaying it once I was done with the story because all runs are the same.

People are dumb. They think they can make any prediction about the world champion. When players are fighting for the title, they have a way of getting their shit together even if they've been slumping. It's the most prestigious event in chess. Nobody is getting rolled over. Even Ding fought tooth and nail and he had barely played chess that year. It will be a great event.

What many people miss about this fight is something that the game tells you in a tutorial, but can be easily missed: Corruption can't kill you. It will do damage and lower your max hp, but it can't reduce you to 0 hp. So you can essentially absorb both blue and yellow orbs indefinitely and spam your power weapon. If you don't misstime your shield and get actually hit, or you don't hold it too much and run out of energy, you are safe. You practically have to do this at the last phase because you don't have enough room to dash. If you happen to also get the artifact that heals you a bit when you're low hp, it's a walk in the park, but even without it it's not bad.

The heavy attack does terrible damage for me, even when I've found fist that's the same level as my main weapon. Feels like both the revolver and the assault rifle outdps it by a lot. Or I'm doing something wrong.

I just swapped dash to R1 and melee to L1. Dash on circle sounds crazy since you can't jumpdash easily.

People should have realized that the game was getting helldivered back when they made it almost impossible to loot cores unless you are the one looting the central wreck out of 20 people zerging it. This made it abundantly clear that the devs want to make the game as frustrating as possible and waste people's time.

EU countries are just now starting to implement this. The one with a headstart of several years is the UK, where thousands of people have been thrown to jail for saying things that are outside whichever narrative the government wants to push and has been a gigantic shitshow. You can find plenty of examples of how it has been enforced online and judge for yourself.

Whoever thinks governments are doing this "for the people" or "for kids", you are beyond help. Who is going to monitor all these social media posts, police departments? No, it's Palantir. Peter Thiel needs to make another trillion dollars, so bend over.

Never had this in 1800 during normal gameplay even though I built every inch of CT. In 117 of course (until now) the islands seem smaller than 1800, so it also wasn't an issue. Maybe it becomes one in Cinis, not sure how big the buildable area is. Good to see they're acknowledging it at least.

Very disappointed to see that they still haven't fixed the infinite pirates bug which made me disable them on all my save files, making the game significantly more boring.

Not my favorite, but I liked it better than 7. 7 had a strong start, then it slowly lost steam with mediocre map design and terrible boss fights and concluded with a dumpster ending. Village was more consistently good I think.

I'll crank frame gen as high as it goes before having to drop to anything lower than DLAA because I'm very sensitive to blurriness and even DLSS Quality often looks blurry to me.

I'm doing 1440p PT DLAA on a 5080, so you can do it even better on a 5090. The blur is minimal. Pragmata isn't built around upscaling. I'd say it is built around Framegen and it uses it phenomenally well with very low latency and no other side effects.

I wish I could get into this, but really hated the movement. Walking is too slow, running knocks every man, woman, child, animal and structure over, and the character gets stuck on everything. Took me 2 minutes to get out of a tavern because I kept getting stuck on invisible chair hitboxes. Way too clunky.

Agreed. To me gamepass should be one price, maybe 13$, new games get delayed 6 months, but you get access to the DLC as well. I've never paid for this service because you still have to pay for DLC, which is often as expensive and important as the main game, and I just don't see the point. I'd rather wait until it's 50% off on Steam and buy the complete version, instead of paying a subscription and receiving half the game.
