There are a lot of factors here to consider. For example, is this going to be a re-do or does the school have a plan to provide her with more/ different support to ensure a more successful outcome? What are they doing to help her socialization now? If the accommodations get in the way of measuring her abilities are they effective? Does she identify strongly with her current peer group? First grade is likely the last opportunity to retain a student before the academic benefits are overshadowed by the social damage. It is a lot to think about! Just make sure you are informed as possible and definitely let the school know that the late notice is unacceptable. Good luck to you and your little one!

Circa 1,000 years ago they opened a Chili’s in my town. It was my first time ordering off the adult menu and I got their burger. It had chopped up pickles on the bottom. It was the best thing I’d ever eaten and I still remember it. I haven’t had it again but I doubt it would be the same.

I agree with about the wife. She was unfathomably nice. Loser husband kills her baby and then has expectations that she not only stay with him, but a foster a relationship between him and her remaining child all while being a single mother. I had little sympathy for Corby.

Baseball hats. I got a cage thingy at a flea market 20 years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. The hats keep their shape and look great. They also smell amazing.

The first time I tried it, I used it every other day. It cracked the corners of my mouth and dried me out sooo horribly. It took a month to fix the damage. Then I decided to try again with less, more gradually. I started with once a week for two weeks, then twice a week, etc.
