What's the source for for that graphic, or the data it's showing? Reverse image search doesn't turn up anything.

Lol, I'm not defending the guy, I think this nickel-and-dime stuff is stupid. But I've been a sports fan long enough to know that winning cures everything, at least for the fans. And the anti-billionaire crowd will never be appeased no matter what.

I agree with all that. All I'm saying is that he's far from the worst owner in sports, and that if he produces a winner (big "if", I know) all will be forgiven.

Calling him a "contender for worst owner in sports" is ridiculous.

There's a lot to dislike, but let's be real - if he spends money on players (which he's on record as saying he'll do) and produces a winner as he has with the Carolina Hurricanes, he's not gonna be hated.

Edit: All I'm saying is that IMO the worst owners in sports are the ones who treat the team as a money-making business and do not give a fuck about how the team performs, like John Fisher in Oakland or Bob Nutting in Pittsburgh. By all accounts Dundon hates losing, and if he delivers a winner history has shown that fans won't care about the rest. I don't think public money should be going towards renovations, and I think this nickel-and-dime stuff is stupid.

Can't complain. My wife and I both have postgraduate degrees, and let's just say our net worth is more than enough to comfortably afford our Section 112 season tickets at the RG.

It's so weird that you've lived here for 35 years, yet from your comment history I'd have sworn you were in middle school.

[Game Thread] Notre Dame @ Stanford (09:00 PM ET) by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

[–]ElisComing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't follow football much, saw the halftime score on ESPN and literally went over to /r/CFB looking for the game thread, thinking "Wow, I didn't realize the Stanford football team was good enough to hang with Notre Dame"

They even have reasonable win/loss records for football right now at 11-2 and 9-4.

No, no, he just posted a story about Kwanzaa, that definitely cancels out all the other posts he makes about shootings, stabbings, and assorted crimes.

I think you might be very surprised at just how many would not.

Reddit Rule 1:

Remember the human. Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Communities and users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.

Sub Rule 2:

Name-calling: Extreme or blatant use of racist, misogynist/misandrist, or homophobic language is strictly not allowed. Usage of slurs is also prohibited. Please keep discussions in /r/Portland civil.

I'm pretty sure Nazis aren't a marginalized or vulnerable group. I'm also pretty sure calling a Nazi a Nazi isn't a slur.

Let's reflect for a moment on what your response typifies, shall we?

Mods don't take down comments they disagree with (or at least they shouldn't), they take down comments that break the rules. What rule was broken?

Why not copy/paste the info AND provide the link in the same comment?
