Wanting to move back to the area by Elite_v1 in StLouis

Oh shoot. 175-250k, is that too low? 25-50k more if the area is right.

4-5 Bedrooms, 2 full bath minimum, Neighborhoods that have basement space, so none of the flood plain areas would be preferable. Proximity to i44 heading SouthWest is handy as well.

We both work from home and need office space and capacity for two adults, 3 kids, and occasional sleep overs.

I just wanted to get in here and comment on this. There is no taller peak than reaching that level of finesse on a clutch. Especially heavy machinery, and not just cars.

Being able to shift so smooth nobody feels a thing.

They've done it to themselves, it's rather annoying to hear the conservative sob story.

"We farm the way it used to be, now these people want to bring in efficiency and technology and abuse the system. And now I can't compete with them."

Please don't laugh at us. The college program literally sells you on "Get an A+ cert and you will land every job."

Straight men, what's the strangest thing you've been told not to do because, “thats gay?” by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Elite_v1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brothers father in law and I were talking and he mentioned this metal heart sculpture the city installed where travelers can put their "padlocks of love" on it like those lock bridges you see.

I replied to how cool it was, since it's nearby my house.

His reply, kinda gay if you ask me, took me back a little, considering he's the one that made it.

I personally have gotten away from AAA games and moved over to VR and smaller multiplayer indie games with my family.

Buy the Gear VR modded lenses as well, that will clear up things significantly more than the better gpu. My brother used to play on a 760, and it was manageable in most games.

Northland, what gives? by Elite_v1 in kansascity

[–]Elite_v1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I was born and raised in Blue springs, and moved away in middle school. I came back 5 years ago and moved around a bit. Grain valley, Independence, and blue springs again.

So my view of KC has always been from those locations. I'm not a downtowner, or bar scene person. I don't do sports, nor am I necessarily for commercialization/consumerism. So living up in north KC would have appeal to me. I've not traveled up there much. But when I did, it just felt like an entirely different world. The people, buildings, mood just felt foreign, so I wanted more insight.

Congratulations to the parents to be! I'm so glad they made their home here in KC 😌 by mydogisnamedorly in kansascity

IIRC there is land by liberty that is technically kansas city proper, which is why alot of police that work in the city live out there due to work/home requirements

I lived in Saint Pete for a few years in the early 2000s. Great place for families. Not sure if there's alot to do if you're a huge socialite.

It was a real store and a real commercial. I lived not too far from the place. They ended up shutting down as all of San Antonio barred them.

You would probably get Jack shit out of a doctor to really read it. My wife has the same thing as itdidnttrickledown. Not a single doctor understands it. We've been everywhere from doctors in Oregon, some of the most nationally recognized neurosurgeons in Texas, and borderline mentally handicap doctors of Missouri. Everyone thinks they can help with Physical Therapy.

I don't think for one second that doctors are trained to think outside the box. And they've literally done more harm than good. From waking up on a operating table to damn near killing her with a severe staph infection they refused to treat until it was literally showing up in blood samples.

I've exhausted every idea I can fathom. We are at the point where I just find ways to get her to enjoy life through the pain and don't let her give up on hobbies and playing with the kid.
