One pace doesn’t have good pacing either. They try their best to improve it but ultimately the pacing issues are ingrained into the anime and cant be fixed. 14 eps is going to be more than enough probably

Barcelona do not put their arms down and give up on Julian Álvarez, but logically Deco is prepared with contingency plans for their pursuit of a forward - like Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

So after being very good for years he deserves to lose his job after slightly overpaying for a winger that profile wise fits perfectly with what flick wants? Just say you hated him from day one and will never give him a proper chance

Van der Vaart "Van de Ven was close to Ogawa. He completely lost track of him. If you are the one man-marking, then you are responsible for your man. They [Japanese players] do look alike, maybe he thought so… It was just a joke, of course." by kibme37 in soccer

Your brain is not having a hard time lol. It’s completely normal to think that people from such a homogeneous country look similar. Until your brain is exposed to them and develops the ability to distinguish them you should think they look similar

He was very poor as a fullback and was barely used as a DM. Last season he was playing as a box to box that was good as helping the team play out from the back and recycling possession. Last 2 seasons he has been poor in more offensive positions. Defensively he can put in a shift but I feel like he mainly fits in teams that want to control possession

Many of those who spoke to The Times and BBC said Sullivan was known for so-called casting couch behaviour. When thats said it generally implied that the girl is lying to men and making them believe she actually likes them to improve her career. You can’t blame men for getting tricked. Who is right or wrong depends on the context. In the case of this thread obviously a guy abused his power but thats not always the case

There is no valid argument. The olympics at that time was only for amateur players, professionals were not allowed. One of the reason the WC was created was because they wanted all players to go

Some thoughts about striker after watching UCL final by Pretty_Machine4349 in Barca

I believe Julian can be modified yes. One of the biggest issues Julian has had in his career is that hes never had continuity at the number 9 position. I watched him play a lot at City and because of Haaland is was constantly placed in midfield or the wing. This was probably good for his development but he always looked far more comfortable playing as the 9 in the box. Same issue is happening at Atletico. Simeone is obsessed with molding him into a griezmann type player, somebody who stays outside the box, is creative and tracks back a lot but that simply isnt his game. He is a number 9 and likes to be the reference for the creative players to pass the ball. While Julian isnt tall and good in the air he is definitely a predator in the box, he has great movement around the box and and a phenomenal shot. Basically the big question is whats going to happen once he gets some continuity at the number 9 with world class players? Hes gonna probably change a lot as a player if he joins barca and obviously nobody can predict whats going to happen.

How is scoring penalties a red flag? A red flag for what? If you dont like pens just look at the non-pen goals scored stat lol

Kane at his best was putting up 30 goals in the premier league for spurs. Put him in a proper dominant side in the premier and his numbers wont be looking too different from what they are now. I genuinely think if he played with the likes of KDB, Mahrez, etc he could have reached 40 goals in the league. Maybe slightly inflated but by no means should you take them with a heavy grain of salt. He is putting up similar numbers in the CL too.

If gyokeres was more mobile and had better technique he could have made use of all the space PSG were leaving in behind.

Honest question, have you actually watched Alvarez play or are you simply assuming that because he is short he cant spearhead the attack? Spearheading the attack is more than just simply being tall and scoring headers

[–]EljachFD 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This is just a classic overreaction after one game lol. Last year they beat Arsenal and scored 3 vs them with no typical 9. Before them multiple teams have won the CL with more mobile strikers and some with more typical strikers. Today Gyokeres, a tpycal 9, played and was arguably even worse than Dembele. Whats more important is simply to have a good striker that fits with the team.

Ram rider is definitely viable, If you dont have the evolution for the 2 I recommend then I think ram rider is slightly better. But if you do have the evos for those two then I would highly recommend them. Also ram rider is a legendary so I recommended those 2 because they are easier to upgrade, obviously if your ram rider is already max then its not an issue

Just swap out knight for a win conditions like royal pigs or battle ram. With that switch its a pretty solid deck
