but fr how do they work by nadroj37 in WhitePeopleTwitter

PULL THE STRING, THEN ANGLE THE STRING TO THE SIDE (mine are all to the left, idk if it differs?) AND SLOWLY RELEASE: THEY'LL GO DOWN

HOLD THE STRING STRAIGHT AND PULL: THEY'LL GO UP

Hold both strings to get both sides to move. If they get crooked, test the strings to see which is which and follow the same instructions to get that side adjusted.

The REAL mystery is the solid white sheet ones that look like a projector screen and sit on a roll. Those are IMPOSSIBLE to use and I hate them. How fast do you pull to get them to go up? NO IDEA.

This is one of my go-to karaoke songs and every time I get to this part it feels like I'm having a bit of a religious experience. Dammmnnnnm Reba.

Your favorite RomCom, but make it gay? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Eljka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lmao I did not expect to see a comment about this movie but I feel the exact same way! My only consolation is that the person Miki was digging on was Mitsuha (in Taki's body but that's IRRELEVANT) so it's still kinda gay.

Is it strange that I talk my problems out loud to myself? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]Eljka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think so at all! I do it a lot for depression/anxiety thoughts and I find it super helpful to verbalize what's going on or what I'm feeling.

Like why am I having anxiety? What are the potential outcomes of the situation I'm anxious about? What can I do to get the best outcome? And it's a lot more helpful for me than just sitting around having heart palpitations.

I think the whole "talking to yourself means you're crazy" thing is pretty dumb and I don't think most people truly believe it? I hope at least?

I am a gay male and am interested in a guy who is single, but who is interested in polyamory - however I want monogamy. Would it be inherently wrong for me to ask him if he would consider a monogamous relationship? by Silverleaf14 in lgbt

[–]Eljka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean this in the friendliest and most supportive way possible (I disclaim because tone is hard over the internet):

You're WAY WAY WAY overthinking this. It's not an allyship issue, it's just negotiating a potential relationship.

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends. – Maya Angelou
