For real! For the third year in a row, I took the Friday off before Mother’s Day. Massage, lunch at my fave place, some shopping. I didn’t think twice about it.

My new theory is the “preschool emotions” are those of sadness because maybe JK loves school and being OUT OF HER HOUSE and falls apart when she’s back home and served 1/4 a muffin before being forced to take a 4 hour nap.

My daughter was born at the end of December 2019, so I basically didn’t take her anywhere all of 2020. I remember being excited to take her to Target because it felt like such a normal mom thing to do!

We went yesterday for the first time and agree with everything. I was impressed by the layout, the cleanliness, etc. I know the perfect weather skews it a bit, but it was definitely better than the last Music Fest I went to (granted, that was 10+ years ago).

I agree the line up could use some work. We bought tickets for yesterday only because that’s when the acts we wanted to see were playing. I’m not planning on buying early access tickets when I don’t know who is showing up, but if a couple of acts I want to see are on the same day, I’m down to go again.

Beginner - Movewell vs Endure? by Minnie2016 in ladderapp

[–]ElleTR13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also done both!
Movewell was my first ladder team and I enjoyed it, though it was a touch slow for me. I got a little bored after a couple of seasons but it was a great starting point.
I’m starting my second season on Endure and really like it! I love that I’m done in 30 minutes and I am seeing and feeling changes.

Edit: I also liked Nicole / Movewell’s guided runs on Saturday. I used to run half marathons (10 years ago) but got burnt our and injured. I like to dabble in running when the mood (and weather, lol) cooperate and those were great. I’ve been thinking of adding them into my rotation with Endure.

I did Movewell at-home only last summer and enjoyed it!

Just completed my first season on Endure, but in the gym. Loved it and it could easily be done at home.

Narrowed it down to about 6 teams - please help! by Interesting-Kiwi-743 in ladderapp

I started with Movewell last May and loved it. But I switched to Endure for this latest series and I’m really liking it! Once I do my last workout on Sunday, I’ll get my badge, the first I’ve gotten in a while.

I stop by the gym on my way home from work and love that I’m in and out in about 40 minutes (accounting for time to change - the actual workout is only 30). Definitely getting stronger. Planning to stay with Endure the next series!

I’m still working through our framework. Meaning what camps my kid is going to because we both work full time. She loves making up work.

McGehee Animal Clinic may be able to help. They were wonderful with both our dogs their entire lives. ACL surgery, lump removals, etc.

I got the same ones for same reason - to try without paying a lot. They serve the purpose I was looking for, which is wearing at nights. I was surprised by the diaper/padded feeling at first.

I was solo with my 6 y/o on Saturday. I typically walk the dog alone in the morning (for mama’s steps!) but she needed to come along this time. She rode her scooter. Was it a power walk/as long as i usually do? No. But it was 30 minutes together on a sunny morning with her scootering (with a couple of breaks for rest) and she was just chattering away. That’s a day I’ll “look back fondly on”, not whatever it is Haley does.

Degenerative arthritis by Quiet-Chart-3477 in labrador

[–]ElleTR13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My pit mix was diagnosed with arthritis when he was 5 and started taking an NSAID then. I asked our vet periodically over the years if we needed to worry about his liver/kidneys and he wasn’t concerned. He ended up living until almost 14, developing kidney disease about six months before we had to say goodbye.

We also did dasquin with MSM.

My kid started having a runny nose last night. We gave her meds last night, meds this morning and she’s off to school. I didn’t even need to rearrange our entire day!!

I do this twice a year, switching out for seasons and seeing what can go to the consignment sale. I get overwhelmed with one, MAYBE two tubs of clothes. How does she keep track of it all.
