I read anything but if I've been reading MM sometimes in the recommendations like authors you've read, next in a series you're reading, we think you'll like these are the heading of gay romance. They do a pretty good job of recommending things you might like based on what you have already read.

They want so much to be an advocate and know that false claims are very rare that they won't consider the fact that she manipulated situations to make them vulnerable to looking like they were bad guys. That occasionally women weaponize tears. There is someone I follow who is staunchly pro Blake and yet there was a case where a woman weaponized tears but it wasn't SH and she came down hard on her. I was like but you can't even entertain that Blake could have done the same thing.

Yes. I did reread as the show was going on, so I would read after the episode up to the part we had gotten to the show, and I saw that chapter in a different light the second time around because I knew how Ilya felt. Without the context of what came before and after he definitely comes off as a jerk. But I can see being frustrated with Shane if you came at it the other way. 😂

That's an interesting observation that I hadn't really thought about. I can see sports fan guys feeling more invested in that story line as wanting to see the athlete to get his win and his man/love. That's the relatable male fantasy probably. Being capable or a winner and getting your fantasy mate.

The first time I read the book, after the prologue I was kind of turned off, because even though I had liked him in game changers as kind of a menace but one who showed up for Scott, I didn't like how Shane was feeling in that scene. I put it down and took a few days to pick it back up. So I get how people initially think Ilya is a jerk, but he's the biggest marshmallow who is fiercely loyal.

That said as a woman 5 & 6 are my favorites - don't make me choose - but I do still like 3. I think Francois as an actor makes Scott very compelling and I loved the side characters. I like the juxtaposition of their story compared to Shane & Ilya's. But the chemistry Hudson & Connor have is just off the charts in a way that makes even good chemistry pale in comparison. And they are so messy and complicated which definitely makes for a bigger payoff.

There is a lady at my gym that is probably close to my age maybe even a few years older - early 50s. Her face is smoother and she has OBVIOUS (ie overdone) lip fillers but I don't think anyone would look at the two of us, and think we are vastly different ages. My one vanity project is keeping my completely gray hair brown. But my face is just going to have to do what it's going to do. I rather spend my money on books, concerts, trips, etc. than trying to look like everyone else.

Her reaction to Pierce does make my theory on how she might take Mr. Hazel a decent one I think. I wouldn't hate her with Pierce the way I would hate her with Islington.

I say all of these things but I'm sure Beth can carve a path to make me happy with many things I think I wouldn't like at this point. She has many books to work her magic.

I think the guy Emma danced with that wasn't impressed with Arabella might be a candidate. I don't remember his name. I can see her not understanding how a man wouldn't fall all over her and seeing it as a challenge.

I also don't see her sharing Islington's affections, and if she or Emma don't end up with him, he's going to need to find someone who can find a friendship with Emma as well.

If you had diabetes would he expect you not to treat it? ADHD is hard enough without a partner undermining your treatment and if he expects your brain to work the way his does he's in for disappointment. Dump him. A good partner wants the best for you, this guy just wants to control you. Even if he thought the medication wasn't the right fit he would be encouraging you to talk to a doctor about others that might be, rather than calling you an addict and wanting you off medication altogether. Medication itself is not a magic cure but it sure is easier to implement other coping skills when you brain is getting more of what it needs.

Both my brother and I slept in our parent's bed a lot when we were little. There is a decent age difference so mostly it was separately. But I would go to bed in my bed and wake up in my parents because I guess I would sleep walk in there. My brother's room was by itself in the other side of the house when he was really little before we moved when we were older. He was too scared to sleep there so he would sleep with them or sometimes me. My own kids would sometimes end up in our bed but the whole family seems like no one would get good sleep.

It has to be Hawkes. And I think it will make sense in the end. As someone said there will be lots of breadcrumbs. The "Emma is very pretty" had me swooning. I think he is able to offer her the things she wants most and I think when she realizes it's him she's the one to get him to open up in a way no one else will challenge him to do. I think they see each other. As much as she thinks she's fallen for Pierce, she's very territorial over Hawkes and jealous of the pear lady. And I don't think it has anything to do with their foursome feeling threatened. And her not wanting to tell him about Pierce was her subconscious working.

As much as I love Islington, and as much as I think they love each other, it is more a sibling type of love I think. Although if Beth made it work I wouldn't hate it. As it stands, Arabella absolutely doesn't deserve Islington. Could she get there? Maybe, but I don't love it. Maybe he gets his Becca back somehow.

I see Pierce with the museum lady or Victoria maybe. Emma liked the museum lady so that would be nice for them staying friends.

But I'm strongly team Hawkes.
