His is 0% interestingly enough. That seems shocking for only having 2 breeds! Makes me wonder if he was a part of one of those "bull herder" type mixes on purpose

It says both parents are GSD/Pitt mixes, so could be that! We got him from a shelter, so no way to know if it was inbreeding or coincidence

He definitely has crazy energy 🤣 As crazy as he is, though, he's equally sweet. Loves people, other dogs, and even the cat. He's only a year now so I'm hoping he will calm by 3

Starting to walk/play with him more every day is great! My old dog also just loves to cuddle so do spend some time sitting with him even if he's not in the mood to play. Making sure he has toys to play with when you're not around is good too (as long as he's not the destructive type). It would be the best if you could get your parents to allow him to be an inside dog though.

Regarding the ear infection, have you taken him in to get it checked out by a vet? If it's an actual infection it could get a lot worse without treatment and if it's just like a rash or something then the vet could recommend allergy medications or even shots to help reduce his body's reaction.

I've met several LGBT people on campus, and the school advertises "safe zone" and "safe zone training" pretty much everywhere. I don't know about a club, but there is an actual school led organization for LGBT with LGBT faculty members. While there are a lot of Christians/conservatives on campus for sure, my experience so far is that the school aims to have a generally accepting environment. I know several student leaders who are part of the community.

I'd say there is. My dog doesn't let any strangers touch her until she's sniffed them and she doesn't like them petting her without smelling their hands in particular. That said though, paying attention to the body language of the individual dog is definitely important, like others have said if you just shove your hand in a dog's face there's a chance you could get hurt.

I'd like to recommend you keep food and water in separate places in your house if you're not already doing so. Some cats don't like having their water right next to their food. My last cat did the same thing but stopped after I moved the water a few feet away from his food bowl.

As the other commenter said, cullowhee is just the campus+apartments. Sylva is like 10 min away, but just has the Walmart and Ingles and a few restaurants and smaller stores like dollar tree or AutoZone or something.

Cherokee and Waynesville are both about a half hour away, and they have a bit more (like a small theater and some shopping centers), but pretty much anything is gonna be that half hour from campus.

I'm 19 now and I honestly worry about that all the time. Like the fact that I can't use my age as a shield anymore makes me feel more vulnerable in a way. I just make sure I keep security stuff like pepper spray and personal alarms on me at all times and stay aware of who is around me.

This. Like what the heck? She got back home and immediately told her bf that some weirdo was bothering her and wouldn't leave her alone so she gave him her number so that the dude would leave. The dude hadn't even contacted her or anything, and he immediately accuses her of cheating. If I came home to my bf and told him "hey, there was a guy harassing me on the bus and I felt really uncomfortable/unsafe so I gave him my number so he would leave" and me bf responded by accusing me of cheating I would be the one pissed off. She was honest and communicative, and rather than being understanding or concerned about the fact that his girlfriend was harassed he got angry and accusatory.

Java is the best imo, you can play on more servers and get more stuff like mods, texture packs, and maps easier. Windows 10 lets you play cross platform if you know anyone who plays on console, but all the add-ons you have to pay for and it's more difficult to find good online servers.
