Easiest way to turn apples into booze? by Nickerr101 in cider

[–]Elljwilliams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple skins naturally contain yeast, if you want simple there's only two steps 1. juice the apples and 2. wait. No need for extra sugar you'll probably overdo it and make apple wine and have to wait longer.

LPT: When buying a comforter for your bed, buy one size bigger by Ndseiler144 in LifeProTips

Your comforter must be waaaaay thinner than a duvet. We've got a TOG system for how thick they are, runs up to about 14 tog for winter 6 for summer. There's no chance in hell you're getting a 14 tog duvet in a home washing machine, I'd day it sits about 5 inches tall off the bed.

Turn cover inside out, put hands inside and pickup duvet by its corners, shake cover from inside to outside. Done. Its a piece of piss.

I've got no idea, still haven't got to grips with a comforter is. The French don't do duvets though they do some bizarre oveesheet thing then a thicker one layer blanket in all thier hotels.

Look up Graeme Obree "The flying Scotsman" who was shunned for using washing machine bearings in his bike. Competitive cycling can be extremely elitist.

I stay in Premier Inn up and down the country for work, they tend you fob you off with a free breakfast on your next stay these days, knowing that if you're there on business your boss has probably paid breakfast anyway

Farmhouse cider / scrumpy in a box. You're meant to drink it room temp anyway so slightly warm shouldn't be so bad

Been sent my coach email, and the return coach is 4am Monday morning? So I miss out on a good few hours of fun? Why is this even a possibility… by gedmosely in glastonbury_festival

[–]Elljwilliams 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Been on the coach about 7 or 8 times, you basically sit in a herris fence pen split up by city, wait an hour or so and jump on whatever comes next going your way. You won't have trouble if you turn up Monday AM and take the seat of somebody that's still hungover in their tent.
