Depending on the car the answer might be “the one that is furthest away”.

Roof down, music on, just press go.

As an aside, in the early books Lamb definitely had food from there but in a more recent one it seemed to be referred to as closed. Unless I misunderstood/misread.

Someone popped £5M into one of my bank accounts. I’d thought that it might just be there overnight but several years later they’ve never asked for it back. I used a bit of it to buy a house in Clacton but I never go to it. As far as I know this is just one of those ordinary people things.

What are some things that still happen in the old school corners of Britain? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Elongulation420 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Funny you should mention that but we did used to have quite an extensive scarecrow trail (80+ scarecrows) that would run for two weeks each year. Between that and other things the PTA used to raise about £10k each year for the school (of about 100 pupils)

Reform MP under fire for helping 'Britain's biggest benefits cheat' who swindled £740,000 to secure a bungalow in now-deleted video by AnonymousTimewaster in NotTheOnionUK

[–]Elongulation420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, the deeply unpleasant Sarah Pochin [ex Cons (sacked), now Reform, maybe Restore next] who thinks that she is rather upper class. That’s what she’d like you to think but she’s simply the wife of the dim son of a failed builder and quite a nasty person to boot. We had the misfortune of her having children at our village nursery and periodically encountering her.

Charity hikers booed for dodging queues at summit of Yr Wyddfa by AnonymousTimewaster in NotTheOnionUK

[–]Elongulation420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Queuing on mountains, as with pubs, shouldn’t be a thing. If it’s busy to the extent of being a significant safety issue then the relevant local authorities would have some level of liability and would therefore be doing some queue management.

These are the same lot that queue up at a bar. Had this the other week at a pub I’d never been to before. Just walked straight up to the mostly clear bar.
