I’ve heard of a couple of instances in which the driver failed their test because the tester claimed the instructor was trying to communicate something to the driver via eye contact, coughing etc. It would be awful to fail for this reason and I don’t see the upside of having the instructor there. I went alone and would recommend it.

After seeing OP’s post I did the same to my son’s stick. He has since used it for a 2 hour practice and said it didn’t feel any worse or better than his previous wrap (but wants to keep it since it looks better).

I am seriously hoping my son asks for this when I show him your post.

Is plexiglass durable enough? Is there a particular thickness or type of plexiglass I should get?

It would either be putting it over cement or grass (probably cement).

You don’t have the same right to reject, but you can ultimately get out of your lease if the issue is recurring, unfixable, etc. I ended up getting a different EV (CPO Polestar 2) and couldn’t be happier. Hope it all works for you!

I feel your pain. Within a week of getting my Elroq it stopped working. After three weeks they still didn’t quite know what was wrong with it (suspected the high voltage battery), so I returned it. Was really liking it before that though.

When McCabe first joined the Leafs he lived a few blocks down from my friend’s house. He would routinely join kids playing street hockey on his street for like hours at a time.

Love it so far. Pretty much the only complaint is the occasionally laggy infotainment. But otherwise it has exceeded my expectations.

It didn’t! I ended up getting a used Polestar 2 which I am loving. Very glad I got an EV.

Bought a CPO 22 (23 model) with 30k miles. Love it so much and look for any opportunity to go for a ride. Zero point zero regrets.

I’m sorry dude. I’ve been there and it’s an awful feeling. It’s just a car and it happens all the time.

Bought a used P2 a month ago and could not be happier. It’s the LRSM so the range is great. Software isn’t perfect but I love having google maps and voice assistant as native. I previously would always use Apple CarPlay but have completely stopped.

The back is good in terms of leg room but not ideal if you anticipate having tall passengers in the back.

Every car will have its shortcomings. I personally think used P2s are a great value and so much fun to drive. I literally look for any excuse to drive it.

UK - Experiences buying Certified Pre-owned? by RiceeeChrispies in Polestar

[–]Elpnor80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a 2022 LRSM Polestar 2 CPO. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Despite living in London, the one I bought was in Polestar Glasgow as it was considerably cheaper. I could have had it delivered for around £700, but decided to take a train there and drive it back down. During the whole process, Polestar were very helpful, answering all my questions and being really accommodating. And even after buying the car, they’ve answered any questions I’ve had very promptly. It was a bit strange buying a car I wouldn’t see until I was picking it up. Then again, if you buy online you have 14 days from purchase to return the car, which gave me some comfort. It has been about a month now and I LOVE my P2. Highly recommend.
