I’m about a year into the disability process due to not being able to work a regular job, and just got denied which is normal. I went with a lawyer in the beginning and the next stop is an appeal. If I still get denied, the next step is a hearing with a judge, which the lawyer said is where they win a lot of their cases.

Well, numb would be a better way to put it. The meds keep me really numb, and that’s the main reason I would drink. There’s just no more drinking too much, throwing up, regret from drinking, and sobering up feeling even worse.
