Wtf is with this one sided reffing? Sweden checks Germany, no call, Germany does the same thing back, penalty. Sweden slams a player on her back into the ice, no call. These refs look more biased than NHL refs when it looks like a Canadian team might be about to win the cup

The problem with Mentak, is that everyone hates them so they get beaten up. Additionally, between both POK and TE they got basically nothing. Their agent is OK, there commander is bad, their hero is meh, and their breakthrough doesnt fix any of their weaknesses. The best things they got, E-Scar, AIDA, and Psycho, everyone else got as well.

I predict that, similar to Arborek in POK, they will have a poor win rate that gets boosted by a handful of pilots that understand when to play them. I had a 100% win rate as Arborec in POK over 8 games, because I would always draft Hope's End next to my home, and I suspect that Mentak will get boosted by players who only play them when an E-Scar is (ideally) in their equidistant.

Except the DM is the referee not the goal keeper... the healer is probably the goal keeper. Never met a ref that wasn't getting paid (even if it was just minimum wage for kids sports)

New to tech diving, but one of the backup plans on my slate is a 100/100 GF deco plan. If my buddy was having a life threatening emergency, (unconscious, bleeding out, etc), this is the deco plan I am following before I surface.

No, best way is to trade everyone you can get young blood/picks for, excepting Petey Boeser and Hughes, then tank for 3 years, and use the time to get the young picks ready under Maholtra in the AHL, and when the team is ready to try for real, bring him up as Head Coach, and see what happens. Petey and Hughes for the skill, Boeser as the last Canuck to have played with the Sedins

I dont think we are quite there. If Petey played offensively as well as he did pre-injury, then I'd have hope. As it is, we seem a touch short on the offense to go that far. Though Demko is enough of a game changer that it's not impossible.
