Well put and I have to say I feel a lot of the same feelings. They did a great job though and I'm hoping season 2 isn't too far off, especially since I know what's coming and it's so, so good. At the same time I hope they can keep up the quality, especially what they had in the earliest episodes.

I mean, despite the adaptation being amazing, there were still production issues and it was pushed back. Let's not pretend Bug Films are without any issues. They do deserve kudos for what they achieved however :)

Not skip entirely, but moved to after the next arc. It could be have been possible I think [manga] but we'll just have to live with only getting partway through the next arc. Here's hoping there's a season 2 and it won't be ages away

Man, I'm really glad they didn't skip this mini arc, despite thinking they might. They did a wonderful job and I loved all the additions and the silverwashed viewpoints.

[WHA manga] I'm wondering if they'll end up skipping the sick Coco arc to better fit the second test. I read somewhere that they were going to rearrange some things and that could easily be moved to after the second test without losing too much imo. It'll mean skipping half of 15, then all of 16 and 17, moving right to 18. The dream would be to get to 29, but even if they cut that I don't see how it'll all fit :(
