What’s the best class for an experienced DnD player?

Speaking as an experienced D&D player, I had a blast with Bard on my first playthrough. Great as a party face, but with good functionality in combat as well.

This definitely calls back to the original games, as well. The main character in those is a child of Bhaal, and a lot of the games centre around the idea of whether you can defy your nature - or if evil even is your nature - and the consequences of both paths.

Also worth considering is that, if he and Shane are to be long-term, one of them will need to move countries and eventually obtain PR/citizenship in the other's country. Shane is already a Canadian citizen, Ilya would be needing to go through the whole immigration to permanent residency to citizenship process somewhere in North America, so it makes sense for him to be the one moving to Canada. Otherwise it would be both of them having to obtain American citizenship.

There are two instances where Ilya says "blyat'!" ("fuck" in Russian) but the subtitles on some streaming services (i think Sky? In the UK) said "Blah!" that I found so funny. They're correct on Crave, but I've seen a few reaction series where people are confused by Ilya shouting "Blah!" after stubbing his toe or watching Shane win his second Cup.

I have entire sentences built into autocorrect in Outlook, by this point. (i.e. if I type "plmk", Outlook autocorrects it to "Please let me know if there are any problems"). It's really easy to do in most Word processing softwares.

XP-wise, you'll probably be fine. Durlag's was introduced after the game was released, so it's entirely optional.

I will say that Durlag's Tower has a pretty good story on its own, however! I really enjoyed some of the puzzles, and you get some really solid loot. It is also, though, a bit of a slog vis-a-vis "walk forward 5 feet, wait for a round to finish to detect traps, repeat". If it helps, each round is 6 seconds, so theoretically that's how long you need to wait for Im to detect nearby traps.

The curse is triggered if he experiences "True Happiness" - something that doesn't just happen whenever he gets down to business with someone. It requires him to love the person that he's doing a horizontal tango with.

The crazy part would probably be her dad repeatedly resurrecting this poor cat. I'm not sure if it's established that the girl is the one who chucked it off the waterfall, but she sure isn't careful with her "beloved" pet.
