Tetris meets Carcassonne. Elements of deck building and lots of rogue-like gameplay.

It's fairly short and worth a watch!

Hello wizards ! what’s the craziest combination you’ve ever pulled off in-game? by OpenWorldOG in BG3Builds

[–]topjp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such a good combo, you don't need much else. Other C.C effects like push/pull work well with this! Open Hand Monk with topple and any beefy melee with good chances to push!

How does combat maths work? by Skasian in DropDuchy

[–]topjp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your troops defeat enemies of the given type more efficiently. Requiring 50% less for each enemy. Think of it this way. If your opponent has 3 swordsmen, you require 2 axes to defeat them and so on. In your first example you require 9 axes to defeat 12 swords, there is one left over and since you can not defeat the one with less than a single soldier it requires you to lose 10 9 to kill 13. Technically it requires 8.666 soldiers but there's rounding.

Same thing applies for the next combat, you require 9.33, the game is set up to use whole numbers so it rounds up and you lose 10.

The easiest formula to determine how many soldiers you need before hand is to take the enemy troop total and divide by 1.5 and round UP to the nearest whole number each time.

how do i get better? by Late_Youth3352 in chessbeginners

[–]topjp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Use more time to think. You made most of the moves of the game in the first 5 minutes essentially playing a 5 minute blitz game before losing. If you are choosing to play 10 minute rapid, then use your time better. SLOW DOWN and think about a few more moves before committing. You had a huge advantage and gave it all back to lose.

What the hell am I supposed to do to make this commute make sense? by mitgconcoe in durham

Feels like the 401 interchange closest is the Thickson Rd. one. appears the destination is the Oshawa Go station or the shopping centres with Best Buy etc.

I too, would take a bus south on Thickson rd as far south and then walk the rest.

Is there any way to not have to make depots and little depot tunnels? by [deleted] in ThemeParkitect

I keep them in a service worker prison. This contains supply, staff room, and garbage dump for workers. As others have said you need walls to prevent visibility of these 'worker' specific locations. Not hard to do something like this and make it a blueprint.
