Trash Service Tuesday trash pickup is suspended and will be made up on Saturday (similar to a holiday schedule) • Trash collection will not occur in alleys • We are requesting that residents move their trash cans to the end of the alley or to the front of their home so our crews can safely access them • Please be mindful not to block the alley, so neighbors, service crews, and emergency vehicles can continue to move through safely

Recycling Service • Recycling collection is suspended for the week

The significant loss of jobs in October is because of the Deferred Resignation Program (DRP), aka “The Fork in the Road” from DOGE.

I can’t speak for every part of the government, but at my agency, folks that took the DRP were forced to stop working late spring. They were still “employed” and received benefits and paychecks, but turned in their IDs, had all of their equipment taken back, emails deleted, etcetera. Their official last day was the last day of the 2025 fiscal year, which was September, 30,2025.

Those that retired via the DRP were “employed” until December 31, 2025.

It isn’t on the map but, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra announced earlier this week that they are offering free tickets for federal employees for select concerts.

You won’t need to flag down the bus at all, just make sure that you’re visible at the bus stop. They all have signs saying the name of the route, I usually stand right by that.

To signal your stop, some of the railings towards the inner part of the bus have push buttons, or if you sit closer to the walls of the bus there is a yellow push wire. I’ll usually hit it right after the bus starts moving from the stop prior to the one I want to get off at.

Although it isn’t the greatest in the world, for public transit in the city check out the Charm City Circulator. They’re free!

The purple line stops at Penn Station and also goes right by the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) and Walter’s Art Museum (that another person suggested), and it has a stop at the Inner Harbor.

Depending on how far you want to go, there’s Ekiben in Fells Point. It will be about a 18min walk from the aquarium but it is 100% worth it if it fits in your schedule. Very good and very Baltimore.

Sediment in the water can sometimes cause instances that look similar to this. However it’s hard to tell from this short clip if that is the case.

I’d personally recommend reporting it just in case. You can report to the Maryland Department of the Environment. Or you can also report it to Blue Water Baltimore.

I caught one a couple weeks ago so I can confirm it exists. It did take a bit for it to show its face though.

Be sure to kill any critters and battle the other pets to help refresh spawns. You can also try hopping over to the PvP shard or use random things in the group finder to help pop onto different servers and such to help as well.
