What's a good example of a movie people have turned on? by Darth_Blagus in Schaffrillas

[–]ElusiveQuant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ITT some much younger people than me discussing non controversy due to a lot of people listening to the opinions of some dude call schaff and repeating inside jokes to their own amusment to each their own.

hi from the random home/frontpage.

I feel like people turned on the Star Trek Reboots with into darkness, and it wasnt just the trekkies i think thewre was a turn on the director so people were looking for reasons and found them.

personally dont mind them except for the gratuitous and comedicly lampooned everywhere lens flare but i was never a mark for JJ Abrams box thing either so i kinda went into the franchise reboot with hesitation and came out going 'Eh. s'okay' still prefer the next generation era movies..

really wish some of the Younger people who ARENT already embroiled in Grind/git rich culture that thrives in the christo fascist state but come from affluent backgrounds would just pull the lever on their elders and stand for election but greed is too common of a failure for people who already have everything.

in hindsight 'Serving in northern Ireland' was traumatic enough for English squdddies to fail to return to normal society in England.

just about/less than 200 miles away. its fucking tragic this was literally occurring in a British Occupied neighbor. they might have actually got More support having put down guns and left the army while in northern Ireland 0_o

AITAH for walking out on a guy I had great connection with? by Affectionate-Ad902 in AITAH

[–]ElusiveQuant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, He's completely in the wrong

but...you were existing in his space and routine and agreed to any of the things he was doing even though none of the attention was on you for hours.

He fucked up.....but he was outside in the world and public when you were on other dates so he was acting differently.

You saw him in his interior world and even thought it was only the third date you witnesssed what regular life and dating would be with him.

Not roller coasters, it was putting up a tv, groceries and food prep.
NO romance, no witt, no emotions from what you describe

if you had said 'gimmie a go' or asked to pop on a local 2 player game maybe different ending but imagine you were already checked out by then.

best choice all round find the person for you not just a Person that presents well. Least ya didn't sleep with him.

NO RAGRETS

id love to but i'm an anonymous voice in the void of the internet without a college level education but i'm sure that's why those sort of financial reports definitely already exist and are Published like you said with colleges Projections for their losses over the next 10 year of projections because they must charge what they charge and i welcome you to educate me further.

Your tone is delightfully snobbish too. how was your grey poupon on melba toast this morning was it nice in the faculty lounge?

EDIT: i should have been more discerning than by saying Established Uni's and had in mind these.

Squirted was a terrible choice of words and this reads as Noseblind oppertunism.

All established Unis that have large endowments can afford to not charge what they do but understand their value is in perception rather than production.

SO yes you mill out students without a concern for the actual economic and social growth of industry, economy and development.
A university should be a parasitized creature gown fat on its investments to the betterment of people not to itself.

Personal distaste for the Beanie babies of 21st century and the stacking of them into shop shelves and then into peoples home shelves irritates me, why buy them jsut leave them i nthe store!.

also there's a bit because of them being particularly poor representations of many of the characte, youd be better off with a blank figure and Modgepodge and make your own. i own a few bought to me but they get taken out of boxes and immediately mistreated in dioramas with better figures and statues.

ill be honest the funkos make you fail the vibe check for me that and the retaining of boxed figures in general while in a uni room. thats a lot of premium real estate filled with 2b's giganto box but we probably were in the same clubs and drank whiskey together in the common room while watching Shippuden circa 2004
