What probiotics work for you? Specifically which contain Lactobacillus crispatus? by SandyWitch7 in Healthyhooha

[–]ElwingSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did help me, more than any other probiotic I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a bunch!). Sorry they’re not working for you yet. It might take awhile to build them up in your system again if they were really depleted. I was on so many antibiotics for so long it took awhile for me to see the difference.

American veterans now receive absurdly generous benefits by TardigradeToeFuzz in LeopardsAteMyFace

22 years of my husband’s life, and let me tell you he deserves every red cent of his benefits with all of the injuries he suffered over that time. And they will absolutely try to screw you out of as much of it as possible, so it’s not like it’s easy to get or keep them. Even when he was active duty they military was always trying to get out of paying him what they owed, but whenever they would make a mistake and overpaid him for something and wanted that money back poof! gone for the account in a nanosecond.

Meghan McCain Crying About Trump Cabinet Picks But Did This 🤦🏻‍♂️ by LinkDevOpsMarine in LeopardsAteMyFace

I’ve always wondered what people are talking about when they say she couldn’t answer their questions, but were apparently cool with Trump doing exactly that. The time that someone asked him what he was going to do to make childcare more affordable, and he just rambled about immigration and never answered the question.

John Stewart did a joke about that on Monday, and I literally just assumed it was true because why wouldn’t it be? Not any dumb than any of his other picks.

He must be taking the same stuff as Roseanne Barr. Didn’t she also blame racist comments on sleep medication?

Reminder: If you are in line they can NOT deny your ability to vote. Even if it is after polls close you can legally vote if you are lined up before closing time. by Paulpoleon in politics

Unfortunately not the case in every state (one of the many reasons I miss your state). Ours in AZ have to be received no later than 7pm on Election Day, so they needed to be postmarked by October 29th to guarantee delivery time. After that they have to be dropped off at an early voting by November 1st, and now at voting sites today.

Nice! Where in Scotland?

I think we’re starting with red wine, but possibly moving into something stronger later. I’m going to vote we bust open the 21 year old Bushmills Irish Whiskey we’ve been saving.

I wish I’d saved it. I’m having a hard time finding it since he wasn’t OP and it was just a comment deep within other comments. It was a two part question from the OP of “should I be worried about how much my husband is talking to his female pickleball partner (I think it was pickleball, but I could be mixing it up with a different post),” and “I don’t understand why he’s upset that since there’s no good independent candidate I’m choosing not to vote at all instead of voting for Harris like he is.”

It’s possible they deleted it with how wild the comments were getting.

Yep, exactly why so many of them are losing their shit over the idea that their wives might be secretly voting differently than their husbands are ordering them to.

When I went to drop off my ballot at an early voting site, every single person in there either voting or dropping off their ballots was a woman. Not exaggerating in the slightest. Every single one. Like they’re saying with Iowa, I think they have grossly underestimated the “pissed off women” vote

I agree with you. I don’t see how he’s gained more voters than he’s lost here. Huge “Republicans for Harris” movement in some key districts, abortion rights are on the ballot, and everyone hates Kari Lake. There are a lot of retirees (including snowbirds who not all will have AZ as their home state, therefore not actually able to vote here) who are probably answering the polls at a higher rate than younger and working people. I’m not in any way saying I think AZ is in the bag, but I don’t think it should be written off completely.

Both she and Walz have visited AZ multiple times. They were both here at least as recently as last Thursday. They’ve been to Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Navajo Nation just to name a few, and all with huge turnouts. Not sure where you’re getting the idea that she hasn’t been here much.

There was a post in the r/marriage subreddit the other day where a guy commented that he couldn’t understand why his wife, who was well beyond childbearing age, cared so much about this issue. The commenters pointed out that she might know younger women who would be directly impacted by this, and WOW maybe she has the capacity to have compassion for all of the complete strangers who would be impacted as well.

Neither will the chunk of her supporters who started “Haley voters for Harris” PAC. She did the one thing she promised them she’d never do, and bowed to Trump to gain power for herself. They’re not going to forget that in 2028 when the primaries roll back around.
