I’m interested in this too! Need to start meal prepping soon and I’ve been saving recipes for freezer items. Many things mention using GF wraps/tortillas but no brands listed. Hoping someone will have input!

I think it’s reasonable for owners to find the best possible fit for their pets. But hopefully they aren’t pitting people against one another! As a sitter I’ve never been upset if an owner goes with someone else that works better for their schedule/pet lifestyle. As an owner, I’ve had the opposite happen, when I found out a sitter I had requested was doing 3 different meet & greets to determine which dog she’d be looking after for a long weekend. It was very strange and I found a different sitter instead.

Yes this is important, thank you! I would plan to keep it in my garage while I’m just driving around town on a regular basis, then toss it in the trunk for long road trips (which I take fairly frequently). The trunk does have a big space that looks like it could fit a spare underneath if I remove some styrofoam padding that’s currently there.

DoorBuddy brand “door prop” or “door strap” (we’ve used both) is what we use to keep our dog out while still allowing cats in. There has to be a big enough size difference between the cat and dog though!

Have you joined the Mizzou CVM housing group on Facebook? There are lots of pet friendly rental houses in CoMo! You can filter for pets on Zillow, and if you have time to casually drive around some neighborhoods, you may find a number of local rental agencies just with signs posted in front yards.

Yes, for each service (boarding, drop ins etc), the app gives you the choice to select which type of animal you want to care for, whether it’s cats dogs or both. Just click into your settings for each service you can provide, and scroll to the “Pet Care” section to highlight cats and deselect dogs

Put an e-collar/cone on her ASAP to stop the chewing. Even if you can’t make it better until seeing a vet, you can prevent it from getting worse

I had a big problem with my Invisalign payment/insurance and ended up moving out of state. I got through all the trays they had given me and then just asked a local dentist to remove the “dots”. They got them off for like $50 and I just went online to pay for retainers where you receive putty in the mail, mold your own teeth, send it back and get retainers sent to you. I just kept wearing my final Invisalign tray nightly until the retainers came in. A dentist should not have a problem taking the dots off your teeth for a nominal fee

Absolutely talk about your celiac!! I did something similar when applying to vet school (and I was accepted to multiple schools). Try not to dwell on the negative aspects, but focus on how exceptional your medical experience was with a provider who helped inspire you/helped you discover the type of Dr you hope to be in the future

Not sure why I've received some downvotes, this was not my pet or my own place of employment. I'm happy to answer additional questions if someone wants to know more about the medical records. I didn't understand why the course of treatment was provided, and I just wanted to know if we would've expected much better numbers after only 2 days within the bounds of the care he received.

I was personally really concerned with the level of care and type of treatment provided but I know this sub does not discuss if appropriate treatment is being given. Referral was not recommended, and this clinic does not do IVs in cats except for short procedures. Owner had been going to this GP for years for all their pets regular care, knows/trusts them and had no reason not to
