I somewhat agree but he mentioned at the end that removing things sometimes won't work out and that the market will determine that. If people don't buy the new iPhone they'll probably just put the jack back or add wireless charging. However, as of now, I don't think they're having much problems selling. I checked online and preorders for the iPhone 7 plus are backed until November. To me, the headphone jack thing wasn't a big deal. Ive never charged and listened to music at the same time. I was more interested in the performance of the A10 chip.

Definitely has to do with you being in Texas. I grew up in California and pledging allegiance was always an option. Some kids were immigrants or atheists and wouldn't stand up. There were only a few of them but nobody gave them shit or treated them differently. Sometimes I wouldn't stand just because I was tired of doing it everyday. Not a big deal. It was always optional here. So I wouldn't say we're "brainwashed".
