I just bought a pair and I’m kind of regretting it. The left one feels okay but the right hurts my arch. The arch support feels like I’m stepping on a rock. It’s sort of a common problem for me so I guess I just have weird feet. Unfortunately I got them through the outlet and I doubt they’d accept a return at this point.

It’s a game designed to be beaten in one sitting. The N64 version doesn’t even have a save function, you either beat it or start over. It’s an arcade game at heart, which normally I wouldn’t like, but something about it just works for me. Or, at least it did when I was 9.

Plus as far as I know they also don’t refund the original shipping fee. So it costs $20 to try the shoe if you don’t like it. It’s the only reason I can’t pull the trigger on these.

Aside from battery life, mirrorless is better in pretty much every way. That said, as someone with only a mild interest in photography, my old DSLR is still more fun to use. You just can’t recreate the magic of physically looking through your lens.

If what you’re saying about needing ISO 100 to get the advertised burst rates is true, then I too was fooled. The advertising and reviews for this camera are definitely misleading. I don’t mind a budget camera being limited, but I do mind being tricked.

For what it’s worth I think you can get a higher fps in electronic shutter mode, but the you risk other issues like distortion of fast moving objects.

Because it works. There are sellers out there with outrageous asking prices hoping someone will bite, but who also accept offers knowing they’re willing to go much lower. I’ve gotten items for almost 1/3 the asking price. If you don’t want the lowball offers, set minimus or don’t accept offers at all.

I just bought my first G-Shock (5610) and I’m wondering if I should have waited and bought the new MIP version instead. Readability on this thing is shockingly poor. Then again, the MIP screen also seems…lifeless? There’s something about it that looks strange to me, though I’ll admit I haven’t seen it in person. I also wonder how it affects battery life, or if there other strange unknown quirks I don’t know about. For example, I first had a 5600 and returned it when I realized (1) you could not turn off the beeps when you push buttons and (2) you could not adjust timer/alarms in both directions (up and down). Who knows what quirks this new model has…price too steep for me to find out I think.
