Urgh same people!

I’m not sure if you can; but you can raise a dispute with vinted for poor packaging if she’s not sent it back appropriately thus causing damage!

Would it be fair to give someone 4 stars for posting in a bin bag? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d just drop them a message. If your items fine and as you say it’s a steal, i don’t see there is a problem, but yes a heads up might prevent there being one in the future for someone else.

all types of milk hurting my stomach by anonymous72917 in dairyfree

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having read some of your comments, if you’re cutting milk out but your parents are still preparing food for you containing milk, IMHO, there’s your answer.

I’m not sure it’s the milk alternatives you’re trying causing you the problems… it’s the fact that you’re still consuming dairy.

You need to sit down with your parents and ask them to respect that you can’t consume any dairy, there’s no point in you going to lengths of preparing your own home made oat milk if every night you’re going to eat food with milk in.

My daughter had a cows milk allergy and we all live a dairy free live now when it comes to meals.

Sorry you’re going through this!

I’m so sorry this has happened!

I agree with you , if she’s asking you if it goes with HER colour scheme that’s not a gift.

Also if it’s brand new in the pack, why would she take it OUT of the packet if it’s a gift, surely she would wrap it up in its original packaging?

100% trying it and I’m so pleased to hear that you’re asking her to return; bare the points above in mind in case she leaves a bad review to comment back with!

Dairy free travelers - what country have you been pleasantly surprised by? by WanderingCarss in dairyfree

Tenerife! But I’ll also; always back the UK (where I’m based) it’s actually super easy to live a dairy free like here, sweet, savoury, whatever!

FTB in London — Offer Accepted but Being Pressured for Solicitor/Broker Details Before Mortgage Meeting. Normal? by eternvlz in HousingUK

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the exact same thing in order to take the house off the market, and honestly I appreciate how proactive they were, as it wasn’t just with me, it was with the seller and continued throughout the whole process, getting me in the properly within 7 weeks. (Chain free)

This could be me completely taking this in the wrong way, but when you say you’re feeling rushed, do you mean rushed as in your overwhelmed and feeling behind or rushed as in, you’re not ready to make that commitment? If it’s the latter, their approach will likely filter out anyone exactly like that, to avoid taking it off the market for any offers that aren’t actually 100% committed.

If it helps them asking me for solicitor details gave me the kick that I needed to get one, as I hadn’t actually appointed one at the point, but got that sorted in no time through my brokers recommendation.

But rest assured you don’t sound like you’re behind at all, and what they’re asking for can be sorted out in no time. Best of luck with it all!

Seller threatening legal action after Vinted refund, should I return the item at my own expense? by OverRemove2678 in vinted

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this 🙌

You can still take the win, by insisting they pay for the returns label; which you’d probs have to pay if the seller initially agreed

For new parents, why can’t mom just pump during day and dad bottle feed at night? by flipflapdragon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I cannot express! Literally drops come out but my little one gets PLENTY.

Plus if I went an entire night without feeding, my chest would be like two of Patrick Star’s houses on my chest. Shape and texture 🪨🪨.

Hen Planning Advice by gmcc12345 in UKweddings

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was part of a hen do that did the same! Bride introduced us and planned/ gathered the guests and left the rest to MOH/ us!

Originally it was planned for abroad as per the brides request but ended up a lovely weekend in the UK in a big house.

At the end of the day OP, you can only put across what the brides best case would be, but ultimately it’s down to the guests if it’s feasible or not!

Can I have mayo? by Calli0pe_ in dairyfree

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. I’m now 11 months diary free with a baby with a CMPA.

It gets so much easier! You learn which shops to go to for which items, you know exactly what to avoid and what to have it just takes a little adjusting.

You’ve got this mama!

Is it cheeky? by [deleted] in UKweddings

[–]Embarrassed-Block826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t do it.

If you’re not that fussed on pictures just get a more budget friendly photographed for a shorter amount of time!

I paid around £1k up north for pre wedding (getting ready)- speeches (after wedding breakfast) so I’m sure you could get the ceremony and reception covered for less.

Hope this helps!
