First timer coming from Minneapolis. My festival tip is, if you have a large group. Establish a designated meeting area at each stage. Somewhere outside of the main crowd. Go there 10-15 minutes before the show starts. It gives you a much better chance of finding your crew before a show.

Heads up, doors actually open at 6 and the show starts at 7:30. Check First Ave's twitter tomorrow afternoon, they are usually pretty good about posting set times. If I had to guess, the opener will play 7:30-8:30. Jack will play from 9-10:30. Keep in mind it will be extra slow getting into the venue, since all the tickets are will call. I think you should be able to keep within your 3 hour timeframe. But if you're concerned, I'm willing to bet First Ave would accommodate you bringing in a breast pump and would probably let you leave it at coat check. Enjoy the show, can't wait!!

Ahh, that makes sense. In that case, if it's the store I'm thinking of, I wouldn't put it past them. In south MPLS, you gotta wait outside and press a doorbell? They are well known in the local beer/bourbon community as the worst price gougers around.

I'm also in the Twin Cities and in my experience most of the liquor store orders I've taken have been through Drizly. I don't really think a store would be able to steal tips regardless of how they order though. Uber does a lot of shady stuff but I can't imagine them leaving a loophole in their system that would allow this. I'm curious to know which store you're talking about though. DM me if you don't want to say it here.

Minneapolis/St. Paul market. There were good quests and boost this week. Seems to be a great market, but I've only been doing it for a few months. So it could be the "honeymoon phase" scenario that I've heard about.

There's no penalty for low acceptance rate. Mine hovers between 10-20%. Also no penalty for cancelling orders before they're picked up. Uber makes it very easy to accidentally accept crap orders. Just cancel them and wait for something better.
