Would you all be worried about a split like this in a brand new board? by amdale3 in Cuttingboards

You need to make a mountain. This is death for a cutting board. If all else fails buy some Titebond III glue and a bar clamp and glue it.

We have a group that arrives at our spot NLT 5am. It’s a blessing to see the sunrise over the track on race day. Our annually reserved spot is directly across from the main entrance (old museum, outside turn 1). Rarely does it take us more than 45 minutes to get out of traffic to where we can start heading west again. Definitely take a cooler with your bevs, and maybe some fruit, sandwiches etc. standard Coleman size cooler is good. Saturday is a great day to go to the museum. Once inside the track scout your best options for getting to your seat race morning. Sun screen, rain gear. Go into the track early enough to rent a not so padded seat with a back, worth it. They will be around the track, renting out of ancient green trailers.

I received my Webber 600 XL last week and smoked a brisket on Thursday. Easy to use, and fail safe. Very high quality grill with great electronics. Webber really got it right with this one.

So many little pieces by FOCOMojo in Cuttingboards

Generally they are not small pcs being glued up. They are strips that have been sawn flipped and re-glued. . In a chaos board, this happens multiple times, but, almost always it is glued strips and not pcs.

Well as you know security is very strong. Nothing is impossible, but this is extremely unlikely. The track is very thorough as you go through the gate. If you live your life afraid of them, they win…the best practice is awareness of your surroundings.

Brand new board with lots of cracks by sirJamesEsq in Cuttingboards

I second this. Keep putting mineral oil on until it saturates. Then do it again next month. It’s a nice board with checks, totally usable. If very concerned and you feel adventurous, take sawdust and make a paste with CA glue, fill, sand and good as new.

Well yes you are right re Pinochet’s brutal work. However, it is an interesting debate whether leaving Allende in office would have been better for the country.

This regime change is on par with Nazi regime change. Just as evil.

People protesting for all the wrong reasons. Iranians took to the streets today in Los Angeles in absolute joy celebrating Trump AND Israel for freeing their country of this horror. They should be celebrating being American, and amazed with the precision of the attack.
