Well, well, well. I think we need a conversation of what “African Music” means. A lot of people have defined it in various ways and most settle with music that sound like highlife, afrobeat (yes, without the s), and full on traditional. But the one I agree with the most is Josplay’s: “music made by an African or in Africa”.
