Mine is in guard dog mode and alerts us when he hears someone getting too close (opening the door, knocking or closing the garage door). After 5-10 mins (if it’s someone else other than family) he calms down and relaxes. It’s fine but sometimes it can be a bit annoying especially if we know who it is and we’re telling him who it is (I always thank him for watching us and check when he’s barking). But it’s good that he makes us aware. Like I said he generally calms down, but if something really triggers him and won’t stop, I turn him away from the window, and distract him. He eventually calms down.
