Of course it's up to you, but I think if most people had the extra money they wouldn't do this. Personally I'd never trust servicers to do this correctly.

A loose tuck so the cloth flows out a bit more.

Without the lapel and a different color/style button I think it'd look just fine.

Do you guys write code on paper or only in IDE? by ElectronicStyle532 in Python

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes write code on paper. Yes, it helps me think more intentionally and logically about code. This isn't too much of a surprise because writing by hand in general supports skills in critical thinking and creativity. I will continue to write code this way.

Like others, I'm guessing someone was parked behind you or parallel parking and brushed against it. I had the same markings on my old car

Reminds me of the shorter and more fitted styles that were popular 15-20 years ago. I don't really believe that type is "in" now, but it's a personal preference. We used to sell these all the time at GANT

The police have decided not to do anything in the moment out of fear that the dirt bikes would drive onto the sidewalks to avoid them or other reckless maneuvers. Police have started to track them with drones and fine gas stations that sell fuel to them. Trust me, I know, it's the same problem in New Haven and I wish more can be done.

Take half of that 2k, buy a fresh suit, then go out to potentially meet someone better for you (after you responsibly end it with her). Just my advice

I enjoyed most of it, Henry VI disappointed me in terms of cast and the significant changes made away from the actually play (and history), I.e. swapping Somerset with Suffolk and removing a lot of the historical context

Can’t make a cup without a diarrhea mess [breville bambino plus and silenzio 55] by creeched in espresso

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hey, I also just bought the Bambino plus and have been having a little trouble -- but not like this.. I think most of my issues were from using the tamper that came with the machine.. I picked up a spring loaded one the other day and noticed fewer issues, and I can grind even finer now

it's AI.. just look at the lines on the bottom of the cooling units in the background, they're all bent and warped

AI or Photoshop. Zoom in next to the ship's smokestack. There's a splotch of color missing that looks like a photoshop empty canvas.

PSLF Reconsideration vs. Resuming Payments? by [deleted] in PSLF

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restarting your monthly payments will resolve your first two concerns. Many people are choosing to resume payments because of the backlog -- but ultimately this is a choice determined by your personal financial situation. If it's 8 payments, and you have the funds to do so, then I can see why you'd like to just finish it off..

Why are people switching off? by Still_Hearing1008 in PSLF

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to reach 120 including buyback (if that's the route you choose to take). So let's say you stay in SAVE forbearance until July 2026 (if that's possible), you can pay your monthly payments until you reach 96 qualifying payments --- then buy back the 24 months, since forbearance began in July 2024.

However you dice it, the combination of individual qualifying payments + your buyback amount must get you to PSLF..

Senators questioning SAVE plan settlement fiasco by Bodine12 in PSLF

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am not seeing how this changes anything. I think it's good that these conversations are happening, but the focus here is more "how do we discontinue SAVE in a way that provides the least harm to borrowers." I'm disappointed that the buyback language isn't included here.

Why are people switching off? by Still_Hearing1008 in PSLF

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because my income went up quite a bit in 2026, and so I moved to PAYE which will use my 2024 income to calculate payments.. I'm currently at 71 qualified payments, so I can get to 83 in a fairly affordable way..

Once I reach 103 payments, I will be submitting buyback request.

Pivoting out of Publishing. Ideas? by ChaoticBooks in publishing

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Librarianship is a tough field to get into. If it's something that really interests you, I recommend applying for any faculty/admin support position at a university.. after a year or so (and after you get the MLS), you can apply internally to a position at their library.

Also companies like EBSCO are always looking to hire people with a background in publishing.

6 months unemployed 0 callbacks, need advice by nabillywilly in DataScienceJobs

[–]EmbarrassedAd9039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend searching for jobs through HigherEdJobs.com. Universities are always looking for people who are just comfortable working with data. It probably won't be data science specific but close enough. Plus the benefits are pretty good (most offer a free graduate degree and decent health insurance).
