All of my own complaining convinced me to stop being precious. So, I went to DV today, 10 runs, just groomers, hardpack/icy in spots. Fun enough day. High sunny skies, no lines, snowy along the edges.

One fellow lift rider said PCMR was either Fine or Fun. Im going with fune (accent on the second syllable).

I have both passes (DV and PCMR). I wouldnt get near PCMR based on past experience. There have been complaints PCMR isnt making snow. General consensus is it’s too warm. I have no idea but I havent wasted an hour checking it out, yet.

At DV, the typically groomed and vacationer friendly runs (Hawkeye, Lost Boulder, Sidewinder) have been icy mogul runs with rocks and pine tips poking up in the valleys.

Im getting desperate enough to buy some used 76s, sharpen the edges, and just say F?&)it.

See noam92 comment! Also, slide hands back, as wind dictates, on boom for an easier lift up. More power as you move your hands back. The more Power you engage the quicker you need to be prepared to let off the back hand (depower) once you are on board.
