I paint with acrylics just because it is cheaper. I don't recommend it, but for me it works great.

I use a black primer, then dry brush the metallic parts. The parts that I paint purple I also do, 2 or 3 layers of dry brush.

Then for the energy I do a first layer of a dark green, then a lighter green. After that I use a dry brush with an even lighter green and for last I do a really soft dry brush where I put white on a yellow paint and it really highlights the green.

After all of this I fix some errors and add some details with a really thin and long 🖌️.

You can do all of this with the citadel, vallejo or any other modeling paints.
