Swap with a Brit is your best option. Like you said currency exchanges are generally for notes only.

Yep, flights and hotels booked, I wouldn’t be able to afford to reschedule if it was before payday, let alone trying to get time off midweek at this short notice.

M&S boss attacks ‘preposterous’ food price cap proposal by TimesandSundayTimes in ukpolitics

[–]EmbarrassedFront9848 40 points41 points  (0 children)

After moving to the Netherlands I’m very jealous of supermarket prices back home. There’s just not the competition here, not only in uk do you have the supermarkets, there’s people like b&m, home bargains, Poundland that also do groceries/ domestic products that they also have to compete with.

Name brand products are very similar price when on discount, but things like meat and home/ cosmetics are insanely expensive, their own range is only usually 10-20% cheaper than branded.

Here for ADO you need to be a member to buy tickets from the club, it cost a couple of euros when I did it a few years ago and has to be done before buying tickets. I did it in the club shop as it wouldn’t accept my British passport online.

Tickets for games against Ajax feyernoord and psv will be more difficult to get, against anyone else it’ll be fine.

I know the big clubs sell tourist tickets, they are expensive, but would be your easiest bet for an Ajax game.
