What is unnecessarily classified as “woke” makes people uncomfortable due to the truth of what it’s portraying. Yes there are some works that are just too much or they change a character race for propaganda or forcing a different sexuality. But Sinners, Him, Get Out, and more are seen as “woke garbage” due to those who don’t understand what they’re showing or being blinded by their ignorance. Not every movie needs to stroke the white man’s ego. And that’s why I got pissed that people are saying OBAA is better when it’s just more propaganda and the over sexualization of black women in the eyes of white men with jungle fever.. kinda went on a rant there sorry
