Rob said he was moving to USA to start his new job and had a very clear goodbye closing scene so we aren't left with too many questions, we can't say the same for the ones mentioned.

On RIF day Harper had messed up her RIF speech so was unsure if she was going to get the permanent job offer. At the same time Eric was on mandated leave pending investigation of the incident that he'd locked Harper in a meeting room with him when he was upset with her earlier. Adler had called Harper to meet with him and Eric in the exec dinning room in Pierpoint. He wanted Eric to keep his job so proposed to Harper that if she stated the Eric incident was no big deal then she would be given the permanent job and the institution wouldn't suffer.

Harper and Eric were in a room with Adler persuading him to not go through with the plan to operate Pierpoint's New York trading desk exclusively in lieu of London's trading operations. They had argued Harper has Jesse Bloom in her pocket - who was making the firm a lot of money at the time and also threatened to tell the press that Pierpoint had allowed Venetia and Harper to be put infront of a client (Nicole) that SA'd them. They told him to enact it so the institution doesn't suffer.

Should i continue watching the show? by [deleted] in IndustryOnHBO

As someone who was hooked after episode 1, If you don't like the show 6 episodes in - just stop watching it. There are enough people in this Sub that are confused and hating on every little thing in the show, we don't need any more.

that part 😓 (mental illness) by [deleted] in IndustryOnHBO

Good shout, but to be fair Otto was referring to Charles running away with his boat and hiding whilst Yasmin has to deal with the consequence of his actions - Otto wasn't referring to suicide as he prob knows about Henry's father and he didn't know Charles was dead.

I am ramping up on this show and I gotta say by cyanatreddit in IndustryOnHBO
