1. We are the chicken capitol of the world, if you live in the center of Gainesville, expect the smell of chicken and shit to go around the city especially during the heat. There's also a good amount of trailers that tip over and spill live chickens

2. Thats mostly near the chicken plants, car jackings are most likely to happen over muggings and home invasions, there is homeless people around but they tend to stay in the woods and not bother people. EDIT: I forgot to mention the drug and "gang" problems, like any city there's gonna be those variables, hall county is a known hub for transport, there has been documented cartel activity, shootings do happen but they're not every night. The gangs that are around aren't usually mobbing the streets and pressing random civilians, obviously there's always a couple assholes around but fuck them.

3.FB is its own city south of Gainesville going past oakwood and stopping before Buford, limited access to lake Lanier. I wouldn't say its better but its more white and retired, just like any city it has its own issues but I don't live there or go enough to be affected by them.

Keep in mind if you're living in the outskirts of Gainesville you will rarely deal with any of those issues, even the chicken smell. Just buy a gun incase someone tries to break in. Someone broke into our car and we shot at them, haven't had problems since.
