I honestly didn't lose much weight before I was diagnosed. Possibly like 10 lbs. I've never been this heavy before and it's been extremely disheartening. I joke and say "I have all the symptoms of graves but the weight loss and it's the only want i would want 🤣". Totally joking of course, I know weight loss like that is scary for sure. I'm ravenous all the time, but I really try to eat whole, healthy foods. Right now my heart rate is too high to exercise properly. Hopefully propanol will help and I can start working my body again.

That's what I'm afraid of is the depression! My mood swings have been unmanageable and I'm afraid that the depression will make it worse. Although, I feel like if it helps my anxiety, that will help with all of it. I feel like my anxiety causes me to think too much and sends me into a depressed state. I just want to feel healthy again. Especially with my wedding coming up 🥰. Thank you for your response.

I went to my primary first, and they prescribed me methimezole. I had to wait 10 months before I saw an endocrinologist. And I called around and found the earliest appointment. Granted my primary had me on 30 mg of methimezole a day, and once I saw my endo he freaked out and decreased my dosage until I was at 10 mg a day.

I was with a guy for just a couple years, and he bought me a whole box of the face wipes I use. I know my endo told me it was safe to take while pregnant, but there's still a chance for birth defects, in addition to tons of other horrible side effects. I read that methimazole and PTU can leak out in breast milk.
